Disneyland Resort
is absolutely hopping with special eats and drinks for the holidays!
The Disneyland Parks and Resorts have visions of sugarplums (and Peppermint Churros. AND Candy Cane Beignets!) dancing in our heads, and today we’re checking out the holiday treats for the Downtown Disney District!
Start making your own list of what you’d like to try with the following options…
California Churro – White Christmas Churro coated in powdered sugar
Cotton Candy Creations – Peppermint, Candy Apple and Hot Chocolate cotton candy buckets
Earl of Sandwich – The Holiday Ham-Ham with Cheddar, Yams and Cranberry Sandwich joins the beloved Holiday Sandwich this year
Kayla’s Cake – Christmas Snowman and Gingerbread Macarons
Salt & Straw – Seasonal flavors include Gingerbread Cookie Dough, Peppermint Bark Mocha and Cinnamon Coconut Eggnog
Wetzel’s Pretzels – Look for Cin-A-Bitz with Sweet Glaze
Starbucks – Holiday offerings will feature a Sugar Plum Cheese Danish and Caramel Brulée Latte (you can also grab a pound of the Christmas Blend Espresso Roast).
Did Somebody Say Starbucks?
Downtown Disney guests will soon once again have two locations to choose from. The popular coffee chain is reopening its second Downtown Disney storefront (it was previously closed in anticipation of construction for the since-cancelled Anaheim hotel project). So, once again you’ll find one across from the Disneyland Monorail station. All the better for fueling up before a day at the parks!
Entertainment
What’s the holiday season without a little jolly entertainment? Downtown Disney welcomes Holiday Harmony, an a capella caroling group that will be dressed up in their holiday best “ugly” sweaters!
Downtown Disney goers will also catch magicians and other artists throughout the area.
Shopping
If you’re in the mood for some holiday shopping (and who ISN’T?), Downtown Disney has something for you.
World of Disney is a must-do, and much like the Disney Springs store at Walt Disney World, the 40,000 square-foot store in Downtown Disney has been redesigned! It’s easier than ever to find souvenirs and gifts and brickabrack that makes us scream “Just take my money!”
Ice-Land Workshop is a seasonal spot where shoppers can pick out personalized holiday ornaments. Find the Workshop near the LEGO Store.
PANDORA Jewelry offers limited-edition jewelry and some special offers this season!
Sanuk is the spot for cozy footwear. Options include Puff N Chill boots and Chiba Chill shoes.
Other fun Downtown Disney shops include Disney Home, The Disney Dress Shop, Sephora, and Curl Surf.
