Hi, there! We’re back with another DFB Video today, and we’re talking about six things that are way better in Disneyland than in Disney World!
Disneyland and Walt Disney World are both magical places that so many of us love. And while they do share some similarities, they are both distinct destinations with many differences between the two. Today we’re focusing on Disneyland, and we’re sharing six things we think are better in Disneyland than in Disney World in our latest DFB YouTube Video! (And P.S. We’d love to hear what you think, too!)

I think that Space Mountain is better at Disneyland! It seems darker (i.e., unable to see directly in front of you) and has a better soundtrack.
Also better — The Matterhorn! I try to ride it each time I’m at Disneyland, and am sooooo disappointed if it happens to be down for refurbishment.

Also… Disneyland and DCA’s churro game is on point! Was in WDW a couple weeks ago and the churros we had were sad churros 🙁

The transformation of the Haunted Mansion to Nightmare Before Christmas is unique to Disneyland and is awesome, Walt’s apartment over the firehouse is unique and special as are several Walt related tours/features, Club 33 is unique and cool even though most of us never gain membership, Snow White’s Scary Adventure is iconic with how much it scares kids in Disneyworld even more so that the mine train in some ways, the Matterhorn is amazing, and Toon Town is unique and fun with the Roger Rabbit Cartoon Spin. Personally, I like It’s A Small World and Space Mountain better in Disneyland. Mind you I’m a Disneyland girl over Disney World even though I think Disney World is pretty great!

Yes! I love seeing posts like these! So many people discount Disneyland because of it’s size, and really, how easy it is to walk to everything is a blessing!

One thing that is WAY, INCOMPARABLY, IMMEASURABLY better at Walt Disney World is the cupcakes.
Disneyland’s cupcakes are uniformly small, bland, and unimaginative. I have literally never had one that was beyond barely passable. That goes for the cupcakes at Sprinkles in Downtown Disney in California, too.
