What is going on with the bathrooms in the parks? They are a mess, stink, and are frequently out of toilet paper and towels.

I always hate when someone tells guests to just park or walk over to Saratoga Springs resort to catch a bus to the theme parks. It is really disgusting to catch a theme park bus and have to stand because of all the offsite guests who were told to use the SSR bus. 100% of the bus transportation at SSR is paid for by DVC members who own there and they (and other SSR guests) should have priority on those bus seats. Why not tell them to catch a bus at CSR or CBR or Pop Century or any other Disney resort? Why always SSR?

Ii love this blog. U give great advice. U should tell people with children that if u stay on property , that u can ask a did maid for one of thoughts big bags that they put over their laungry buggeys. Makes a great stroller cover mabey a secret but always leave a couple buck for your dis turn down service. Do not skip that part. Be true and great. Always the best part of my year. Been going cent my daughter 3. Every year. Stay for 7-10 days. Mydaughter

Great advice. Could have added the extra cost to renting a car in the form of parking charges. I still rent one because I want to move fast. Maybe should have also mentioned Hotel Plaza Drive hotels as a cheaper alternative to a Disney hotel because you almost get all the same benefits (extra magic hours, 60 day Fast Pass window, free bus transportation to parks) for much less.

I definitely agree with taking young children. As a native South Floridian, Disney has been a part of my life (a very positive one at that) before I can even remember. One of my favorite “memories”, that I love to share is how I enjoyed my very first ice cream cone, when I was nine months old, in the Magic Kingdom! I’ve got a picture to boot! If you’re a huge Disney fan, and believe that your child will be as well, then let them have these kinds of “memories”, too!….and they get in for FREE!

I am one of the folks that don’t do the thrill rides. So that I don’t feel so left out and abandoned, I go ahead and enter the ride with my family. I even get a Fast Pass. I get to walk through and see all of the cool stuff right up until it’s time to board the ride, all the while, hanging out with my family. When it’s our time to board the ride, I then tell the cast member I would like to exit. They point out the exit and away I go. Mere moments later, I see my family exiting and we meet back up. Way better than standing outside not having any idea of when they will return and feeling like there’s no fun for me.
