That price is ridiculous! It’s a tour for the wealthy only. I’m hoping Disney shies away from this sort of thing.
For that price you should not only get an overnight stay in the castle , but Mickey should hand deliver Trader Sam drinks, peel your grapes, and give you a mani-pedi.

The fact that “It’s a tour for the wealthy only” doesn’t turn me off Disney at all. There will always be things I can’t afford, like a Lamborghini, eating at my favorite restaurants every night, or living the rest of my life on Disney property. And I’m okay with that. From Club 33 to shutting down whole parks for corporate and celebrity use, Disney has ALWAYS catered to the rich. That doesn’t mean it can’t cater to everyone else as well. This just gives me another Disney thing to dream about (unless I win that lottery).
I don’t have an issue with this being offered, but I do think it’s an absurdly poor value. I would pay $12k (if I happened to have that much laying around with nothing else to spend it on) if it included a stay in the Dream Suite. Certainly not just a *tour* of the Dream Suite. But if people want to waste money on this, by all means, go right on ahead.
Supply and demand… if we keep demanding, they’ll keep supplying. I go to Disney every year, and I’m not seeing people minding the crazy prices enough to stay home… just sayin’…
Regardless of what they do Disney will always have those that choose to criticize them and those that enjoy their offerings. I have no problem with the price; how others spend their money is their business.
We have annual passes and go as often as possible. The park is always cleaner than other theme parks, the landscaping is kept up beautifully, the merchandise sold there is above average and the food is a higher quality.
So lets just enjoy the destinations we choose to travel to and not worry about what the next guy is doing. . .
There’s only one Disney World and wealthy people want to visit, also. I just hope that we little fans don’t get priced out. Even the value hotels are climbing so high and yet they act like they want us to stay on property!?!?
Honestly, this one made me mad. Sure, rich people can afford this, and they have every right to. And if they do, I reserve the right to judge them as not paying enough taxes, particularly if they whine about paying for education or health care or veterans’ services. If they were giving this to a kid with a terminal disease or something, that would be one thing, but come on. At some point, this gets disgusting.
Omg love disney world but I would rather give money to charity and do the same as everyone else than pay that.

Ok, just be I’m wealthy doesn’t mean I don’t look for a deal. Paying that much money for a tour of a park and not have the park entry ticket included is ridiculous!!

I think it is great when rich people spend big chunks of their money instead of leaving it in banks. Spend it all up!
I did this tour in February of 2020. In fact, we did it for two days…It was awesome, from the ride they used to pick you up to the two tour guides you get. We planned it out and used all 12 hours for each tour. We were able to walk on to any ride we wanted; maybe a 5 min wait was the longest, and we rode each ride as many times as we wanted. We had our own private elevator for the haunted house and boat for Pirates. I hope they bring this tour back…
