Joffrey’s is known for their giant Donut King donuts — but guess what we found there today: MINI Donuts!
Yep, Joffreys did it! They now they offer some super fresh, amazing looking, and yummy mini-donuts.
We found these delightful mini donuts on their very first day being offered at Joffrey’s Tea Traders in Disney Springs. You’ve got to see these, because with names like Love Bug, Unicorn, Cookies & Cream, Snickers, and more you know they will be something to see (and try!).
Look at these cuties! You get to choose 4 of them from the new line of 8 mini-donuts. We had a hard time choosing just 4 — so we went with all 8! Let’s introduce these new donuts to you!
We’re guessing the Unicorn will be one of the more popular donuts in this new line. She’s got a little pink cheek, beautiful pink mane, and rainbow horn! The Unicorn is a vanilla donut topped with vanilla buttercream.
During the next week leading up to Valentine’s Day we are sure the Heart Candy mini will be popular with it’s white chocolate conversation heart topper! You can choose either vanilla or chocolate for your Heart Candy mini, we went with vanilla.
Another one that may be popular for Valentine’s Day and the spring time is the red velvet Love Bug mini.
If you love cookies and cream how about this Cookies and Cream mini? Look at those chunks of Oreos! They were surprisingly fresh!
M&Ms are covering the chocolate-iced M&M mini.
Sticking with the candy theme, there’s a chocolate-iced, peanut and caramel-covered Snickers mini.
Finally, we can enjoy the flavor of the Girl Scout Samoan cookies in a donut form! That’s a chocolate-iced donut topped with toasted coconut – then it’s drizzled with caramel. Yum.
Last, and by no means least, that classic summer time treat S’mores is now in a donut form! Two favorites in one! This mini is iced with chocolate, covered in graham cracker crumbs, and drizzled with marshmallow.
What did we think of these minis (also made by Donut King, who makes the Giant donuts too)? All of these minis look, felt, and tasted really fresh. Our favorite two minis were the Snickers and M&Ms. We were really happy to find even the Oreos on the Cookies and Cream mini were fresh, since when used as a topper Oreos have a tendency to feel damp or stale. As far as the Unicorn’s buttercream frosting, we couldn’t really tell a difference between that and the icing used on the other minis.
These minis come in a 4 pack for $4.99 — the same price as the giant donuts — AND they’re a Disney Dining Plan snack credit for four! Yay!
The Big, or mini, question now — will you choose the classic giant donut at Joffrey’s or go for the minis on your next visit? Let us know in the comments below!
