An after-hours event took place last night for Disneyland Cast Members. The OCRegister has shared images (collected via social media) and info from the event which revealed the costumes for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge!
While there will be Storm Troopers, droids, and alien species walking around Planet Batuu, there will also be uniformed Cast Members playing their roles. Here is a look at the images, with credit to the posters in the caption:
Try Everything Daily shares that “Cast Members who work in the village will have the ability to ‘mix-n-match’ from four different tops and five different bottoms, as well as accessories (for the first time ever),” and discusses how that ability to customize will add a level of authenticity to the storyline of Black Spire Outpost.
Disneyland President Josh D-Amaro (@joshdamaro) shred the image above and also shared a nametag reveal on Instagram, which showed that names will be both in English and Aurebesh.
The following images are shared by @SasakiTime on Twitter!

Those are really cool looking. Very true to the Star Wars aesthetic.
Veronica Shine says
They are lovely. However, I hope all these fantastic costumes are only for those cast member who work exclusively indoors. I hate to see them walking out in the +++ degree Florida sun and humidity from April through October.
Rachel says
Well, those cast members definitely won’t be cold. Haha!
Michael Bachman says
These are a let down. Not the best I would expect.
Jayne says
I think they look very true to Star Wars. The costume team did a great job.
Melissa says
The costumes are awesome but they’re definitely not made for Florida weather! I was sweating just looking at them!
