As the transformation of Disney’s Hollywood Studios progresses with last year’s opening of Toy Story Land and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opening on August 29, 2019, there are other changes surrounding the park in anticipation of greater crowd levels.
Two of these changes making their debut today are new Disney transportation bus loops ready to offer lots of shade to waiting guests. And, of course, you can also make out the upcoming Disney Skyliner gondolas in this photo which are currently in testing phase:
You also may have noticed front and center the new signage for guests parking their cars at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The lots were previously named to reflect the entertainment industry theming of Hollywood Studios with Film, Stage, Television, and Music as the designations.
Now, characters adorn the signs and lend their names to the various numbered lots with Mickey, Buzz, Minnie, and Jessie among them, along with Olaf and BB-8. (And we give many thanks to @brbgoingtodisney on Instagram for the pics!) These, of course, are all characters whom guests can interact with in the park.
The changes keep coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios! What do you think of these latest transformations?

Hope the new changes include expanding the handicap parking area. Will be at the Studios for the DVC Moonlight Magic next week.
