A refurbishment will soon begin at Mizner’s Lounge in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.

The result will be an expanded space for the Deluxe resort lounge.

In order provide room for the change, the neighboring shop, Commander Porter’s, will close. These changes will reportedly begin on April 4, 2019, with a reopening of Mizner’s expected in the fall.
Guests at the resort will be able to find a temporary lounge on the ground floor by the Garden View Team Room. The Grand Floridian Orchestra will also have a space from which to perform on the ground floor during the work.

Always enjoy a cocktail in Mizner’s, but have always found something to purchase at Commander Porter’s. I will miss the upscale shop.
Wonderful part of our family vacations to WDW and look forward to hearing the Grand Floridian Society Orchestra and relaxing in the new Mizner’s! We would love to see the return of table service and table and chairs around the rim of the balcony area, also, to be able to watch and hear the Orchestra as we did in years prior! Always a highlight of our visits! Thank you!!!
Doubt many would question the need for some refurbishing at Mizner’s, but I do hope they will keep their tasty wasabi nut mix.
