So, are Mini Donuts the end of the giant Big ‘Ol Donuts as we know them? Hopefully not, as Cast Members informed us that we should still see them around from time to time. BUT, we have now officially spotted these new mini-donuts at Joffrey’s Coffee and Tea locations inside both the Magic Kingdom and The Contemporary.
These new offerings, like the Big ‘ol Donuts, are super fresh and tasty. Don’t they look like a perfect excuse for a sugar rush? Well, that’s because they are! There’s a lot of flavor and fun in every bite. And since every donut is different, there is the opportunity to please everyone in the family for just a sweet little bite each… OR the opportunity to have a ton of different options to fulfill your own sweet-tooth cravings.
And remember, a few weeks ago we spotted these mini donuts at Disney Springs and they actually had a large number of options that we did not see today. Read all about those here!
The mini donuts will come in different flavors and typically offer a wide variety of fun toppings. The price is $4.99 for a 4-pack (which happens to be the same price as the giant donut). AND they’re going to be a Disney Dining Plan snack credit! YAY!
Fun topping options include Captain Crunch, Gummy Bears, Fruity Pebbles, and chocolate chips. Joffrey’s also offers different icing flavors including vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry.
The donut covered with blue and pink pieces on top is cotton candy flavored.
The pieces on top were almost like popping candy. One of our taste testers gave it a try and said that it a little too sweet for her preference, but the kiddos would probably love it.
We LOVED the Captain Crunch one because… well, Captain Crunch.
But we also enjoyed it because it had a fun texture without being overly sweet.
This colorful blue donut actually has regular icing. It just happens to be blue!
The gummies on top are a fun addition, though they do not add too much flavor to the donut itself.
The watermelon donut did not seem to have any watermelon flavor other than the sour watermelon gummy on top.
It was also a little weird paired with the chocolate chips, but it was still a fun donut to have! And the donuts themselves are nice and cakey but they have a very soft inside.
The donut selection will likely change from day-to-day with a few new and fun creations being offered depending on the day and location. And just a fun fact for those giant donut lovers (like us!)… these mini donuts are also made by Donut King, our same friends who make the giant donuts!

These look delicious! Where inside the contemporary can you find these?
Alyson says
Would be nice to know if these are allergy safe. So many of the Disney offerings are not peanut safe which keeps me and so many others from safely enjoying a treat.

Has anyone seen these at Animal kingdom yet?
Adam says
As of February 2020, I was not able to find these anywhere in any of the parks. Was told by people at the Manic Kingdom, they use to have them but no longer do.
