It’s time for What’s New from Disneyland Resort! We love bringing you the What’s New from Walt Disney World, including construction updates, new merchandise, ride openings and closings, dining news, and MORE! And we’re thrilled to be doing the same for Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park! Come along!
Disneyland Resort Construction
Disneyland Resort recently announced the name of its newest parking garage: the Pixar Pals Parking Structure. Who doesn’t love a parking structure with a little style?
This brand new structure is near the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure, increasing parking capacity significantly.
The Pixar Pals Parking Structure is expected to accept its first guests in July 2019, so it WON’T be ready for the crush of humanity coming for Galaxy’s Edge. Just FYI.
In refreshing minor construction news, there’s a new water fountain and mister on Pixar Pier!
We love the bright yellow industrial look!
It’s located near the Pixar Pal Around, so be on the look-out if you need a way to cool down!
If you prefer to cool off in a more theme park-y way, Grizzly Rapids is back open!
The California Adventure ride was closed for a short refurbishment. But now it’s back to gettin’ folks wet!
Disneyland Resort Dining News
Disney’s recent announcement that trendy rose gold is giving way to Briar Rose Gold has, apparently, reached the shelves of Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff. We spotted Briar Rose Gold Cake Pops in the pastry case!
And we did notice an unsettling price increase at Disneyland Hotel’s Tangaroa Terrace‘s Dole Whip window. Here are the old prices: $2.99 for a Dole Whip Soft Serve, $3.69 for a Float, and $10 for a Float with rum.
Prices have risen dramatically on the Soft Serve (now $5.69) and the Float ($6.49). The Float with rum has gone up $1. That… stings.
Disneyland Resort Merchandise

If you’re more of a travel mug kind of human, hit up the Donut Cart near Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland Park! Here you’ll find this handsome bloke:
Yup, Mickey’s still celebrating his 90th birthday (as well he should!), and this travel mug has been designed to capture all of his many sides!
At Disney Clothiers on Main Street, U.S.A., guests can get fully outfitted in Briar Rose Gold merchandise from head to hip!
Apparel is soft and sparkly, featuring neutrals to go with the refreshed rose gold.
Ears are as shimmery as ever, with Briar Rose Gold glitter ears and a sequined bow.
The spirit jersey is a lovely shade of gray to highlight Briar Rose Gold sequined writing across the back.
You can make the Briar Rose Gold Spirit Jersey yours for just under $70.
Of course what’s a color trend without apparel trends to go with it? Ears: check. Spirit jersey: check. Fanny pack? Yup, you can get one of those, too!
And a wallet. Which will be empty because #BriarRoseGoldMerchandiseEverywhere!
And that’s that! Our What’s New from Disneyland Resort where we will keep bringing you the latest and greatest!
