A few weeks ago, Disney released information about new dining options in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge (see it here!), and Kat Saka’s Kettle was introduced as a flavored popcorn stand. Now, we have a look at BRAND NEW concept art for this spot!
In keeping with other concept art we’ve seen from Galaxy’s Edge, Kat Saka’s appears to blend right into the scene. It looks like cauldrons of popcorn crowd the entrance, covered in domes. We’ll have to wait and see how this design translates in real life, but it looks like a weathered food stall in a busy market! But we do now know the name of one snack guests in Black Spire Outpost will enjoy: Outpost Mix, a sweet and savory combo made with — what else? — popcorn!
Kat Saka’s Kettle and Ronto Roasters — a sandwich spot in Galaxy’s Edge — now have webpages for both Disneyland and Disney World (until now neither had been represented by an official page) noting phase one opening dates — May 31 for Disneyland and August 29 for Disney World.
Which really brings us to our last point: is it May 31 yet?! With so many new things to explore, rides to ride, and eats to eat, we can’t wait for Galaxy’s Edge to throw open its gates!
