Hi AJ and the DFB team! Thanks for all your great content! NOBODY wants to go through a hurricane, but if you have to, Disney is THE place! I hope people really do realize the extent they go to keep everyone safe, and still having some fun. I’m a native South Floridian, who lives a 1/2 block from the Intracoastal waterway. Luckily it doesn’t happen often, but when a mandatory evacuation is issued, Disney is the first place many of us check for room availability. The fact that we can now take dogs to some resorts is wonderful. Even if the storm is forecast to hit Disney as well, we know that we’ll be much better off there than at home. I hope this puts peoples minds at least a little at ease.
