This past week delivered LOTS of BIG NEWS about the 2019 Epcot Food and Wine Festival!
Along with information about Festival favorites like the Eat to the Beat Concert Series and Dining Packages, Special Events, Seminars and Demonstrations, and MUCH more came information about how and when to book these events.
Booking will open on May 15th for Epcot Food and Wine Festival Events for the General Public. However, if you’re a Disney World Annual Passholder or a Disney Vacation Club Member, you’ll want to make an extra note on your calendar.
Today we’ve spoken on the phone with Disney Cast Members who have stated that early booking for Disney World Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members will open on May 14th at 9:00 AM EST.
However! Please note that — when inquiring with Disney World Annual Passholder services, they were not able to verify early booking for Annual Passholders at this time.
So keep in mind that this info is always subject to change, and indeed things DO change from time to time. But since this information falls in line with what has happened in previous years, we’re pretty confident in reporting that it will be the case. (There have even been years where we haven’t been able to receive any confirmation, and yet early booking still took place.)
At any rate, if you are a Disney World Annual Passholder or Disney Vacation Club Member, we advise calling at 9:00 AM on May 14th (407-939-3378) if you’ve got your heart set on attending a specific event.

Carol says
This year we’re considering upgrading to the wine view lounge for the party for the senses? Is it worth it? Is getting a parting gift and better alcohol worth it. Transportation to and from the resort is definitely a plus. Any idea what the gift is? Have to consider everything….
Nancy says
Are they going to change up the menus this year? The last 2 they have been the same.
Mary says
We always spend most of the night walking around, trying different foods & wines, so I say no it’s not worth it. There is SO much to eat and drink the extra in the View Lounge is just a so-so add on. But then I also have to say I still love my Festival wine glasses they gave as the gift a few years ago.
Diane says
Will candy sushi be included in the early booking window?
DFB Sarah says
Diane, we would expect so, but we don’t have any specific information about that.
Alice says
What’s time on May 15th will the general public booking start?
Julie says
Do we call DVC to do the early booking or the WDW Fest number?
Lori says
What exactly do you get extra at the wine view lounge?
BRANDON says
DFB I love the info that you provide. . However, I get that you receive much of your revenue from ads on your website. But it is almost unusable.
On my phone it takes on average about 5 mins 37 seconds to load any pages because there are so many ads. And they are large bulky ads that take a long time to load on mobile. The computer loads faster but still super slow.
Tricia Johnson says
Thank you Disney Food Blog. I followed your advice and got all of the Food and Wine reservations I wanted!
DFB Sarah says
Yea, Tricia! Have a great time!
DFB Sarah says
Lori, here’s the official link to Disney World’s info about the two different types of seating. Some extras include earlier seating, a “chef’s briefing”, and an amuse-buche.
DFB Sarah says
Julie, DVC members are instructed to call member services for the regular booking, but Disney didn’t specify for the early booking. Hopefully you’ve already gotten through!
DFB Sarah says
Alice, typically booking opens at 7AM!
Nate says
On the phone with Disney for about an hour only to find out the Candy Sushi reservations won’t be available until 9am on May 30th. No early booking for passholders.
Kellie says
Anyone know anything the Hibachi Experience and why we cannot book it?
