Rivers of Light: We Are One tells “the story of our connection with animals and the emotions and milestones we all share in our journey through the great circle of life.” The new version adds more imagery from Disneynature films and Disney animation to the show, like moments from The Lion King, Bambi, Pocahontas, and more.

The original score of Rivers of Light is combined with well-known themes from Disney films throughout the 15 minute show.

The Tree of Life Awakenings have also received a new piece, as there is now a gorgeous vignette featuring the story of The Lion King.

Remember, the Tree “awakens” throughout the evening, so you’ll have several opportunities to catch a story or two. And the beautiful projections onto the tree really are stunning.

I hope We Are One is a real improvement over the old version of the show. The other one was such a letdown, despite the beautiful setting, I always felt there should have been more. Love Tree of Life Awakenings and AK at night in general, Beautiful park. Be sure and walk around in Pandora at night!
