We’re in Magic Kingdom today to bring you What’s New! We’ll be exploring food and menu updates, construction progress, and a few pieces of fun merchandise! Let’s “enter the world of” What’s New!
What’s New in Magic Kingdom Eats and Menus
, the park’s Starbucks location, is highlighting the Iced Caramel Cloud Macchiato. This drink has been here for a while, but we haven’t seen this placard pushing the beverage before.
At the Main Street Confectionery and Big Top Treats in Fantasyland, Aladdin-themed cake pops and caramel apples are available! We’ve also spotted these at Goofy’s Candy Co. in Disney Springs.
The Rainbow Cookie for Pride Month is also available in the Park’s confectioneries.
Memorial Day treats are also at the Confectionery and Big Top Treats. Options include a Mickey Ear Cookie, Krispie Treat, and Cupcake!
In Adventureland, Tortuga Tavern is open! Interestingly, the sign is not out on the exterior. We’ll watch for its return.
Note that you can get the Pepper Jack Pretzel here! This popular treat comes and goes, so we’re always on the lookout for its current locations!
At Golden Oak Outpost, Loaded Onion Rings have been added to the menu. Jalapeno Poppers and Fried Cauliflower have been removed. And the Turkey Leg is on the official menu now. Previously it had been on a stand-alone placard. And you’ll notice that Waffle Fries are not listed separately from the Chili-Queso Fries, but on our visit, a cast member here told us we could still order them plain if we wanted.
What’s New in Magic Kingdom Construction
Work continues on the widening of the Castle pathway that leads to Fantasyland. The new wall continues to be built, and steel reinforcements can be seen poking up through the concrete.
A Park map is now up on the construction walls around this area.
And over in Tomorrowland, the Tron Coaster track is being installed! It’s easiest to see this from Goofy’s Barnstormer in Fantasyland, so head on over if you want to watch the action!
On our visit, we watched a crane lift portions of the track and set them into place. Such a cool process to watch!
Over in Tomorrowland, the cranes for Tron are visible, but it’s harder to get a peek of the tracks.
What’s New in Magic Kingdom Merchandise
Pirates of the Caribbean fans, Redd’s Pirate Dress (and a fun Treasure Box Purse!) are available! See more about this awesome merchandise here!
Meanwhile, while “Tamatoa hasn’t always been this glam”, this Shiny Tank will prevent you from being a “drab little crab”!
And this new-to-us Lady and the Tramp shirt is wishful thinking, right? 😉

We watch all of the videos posted on the channel and enjoy them. In a number of them, when a wrist with a Magic Band is visible, there is a bracelet that appears to be a Donald Duck Tsum Tsum. Where can that be purchased, please? Thanks so much!
DFB Sarah says
Barbara, thanks for watching! The bracelet you described was actually made by our team member’s niece from a make-your-own kit from Target!
