You’ll have to go on a hunt for buried treasure at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park to find this special treat…
Okay, it’s actually not that hard to find the Chocolate Treasure Chest… simply head to Leaning Palms to find it!
Primarily you’ll find sandwiches, pizza, and even an assortment of Rice Bowls to offer substantial fare at Leaning Palms. But if you’re simply in search of a sweet treat… well, that’s what we’re here to dig up for you! The Chocolate Treasure Chest is made of dark chocolate.
Now, the Treasure Chest — according to the sign — is supposed to have a white chocolate “mouse” hiding inside, and you can see what very well might be candy eyes and nose if you look closely at the sign (assuming that wasn’t simply a typo).
Ours didn’t quite turn out the same way…
But it IS filled with a tasty white chocolate MOUSSE topped with cookie crumbles, candies, and sprinkles. The mousse itself is closer to a pudding in consistency than a light and airy mousse, giving the dessert a nice richness and making what is a fairly small treat a filling find.
And, we must say, the dark chocolate treasure chest held up surprisingly well in spite of the heat! So overall, this treasure chest is well worth the search!

I’m at the park today and they said it’s not available. Was only a one time thing for the passholder event.
