If you’ve ever visited Epcot, you likely know about Rose & Crown Pub and Dining Room, a truly charming and beloved spot located in the UK Pavilion. It’s always good to pop in for some delicious Bangers and Mash, some classic Fish & Chips, or the Battered Banger and Chips.
But what you might not know is that Rose & Crown has an outdoor bar where you can find a few of the drinks that are served inside as well (an added bonus — it often has a much shorter wait!), along with some House-made Crisps for a snack. But aside from those Crisps, there really isn’t much in the way of food here. But today…
… we happened upon this propped up sign advertising the Ploughman’s Lunch!
This meal presents a pack of assorted foods. It comes with Branston pickles, half a Scotch egg, Irish Cheddar and Cotswold cheese slices, a small salad, corned beef, picalilli, and a pretzel baguette. There are SO many goodies in here!
The dressing (balsamic with olive oil) and our utensils came in the box as well. We loved the tender and super flavorful corned beef, which is further flavored with Branston mayo and chives.
The picalilli is a mixture of cauliflower, onions, cucumbers, Jalapenos, and more.
The portions and sheer variety were very nice overall, especially when it came to the cheese and meat pieces. And we, of course, loved that it came with a full pretzel roll (though, admittedly, it was a bit dry for our liking).
Overall, we were really pleased with this new offering and think it’s a great snack to share or to enjoy as a light meal. And, since Cast Members ran inside to the pub to get this when we ordered it, we assume you may be able to purchase it there as well!

Now we’re talking!! Finally some good eats for those of us who don’t eat wheat (easy to skip the roll here). Can’t wait to go try this!
Lisa R says
That looks great and one of our favorite spots!
Do you know if this qualifies as a Quick Service credit on the dining plan?
Andrea says
Speaking as a Brit this is not a ploughman’s lunch! I thought the purpose of the World Showcase pavilions was to represent each country’s food etc, not the American versions of each country’s food, etc.
Kristina says
Any idea if you can get it without the meat? I love everything here but don’t eat meat! ( meat free/healthy meal foods are always hard to find, and lacking lately!)
Mike V says
Guessing since there is no dining plan next to sign this doesn’t not qualify?
Does it come with a drink?
Kathleen says
Mmmmm…This and a pear cider !!! Hope its still there in August.
DFB Sarah says
Mike V., it is not a DDP QS credit, no is it snack credit eligible. No drink included!
DFB Sarah says
Kristina, you can ask!
Tiffany says
not sure about mixing the branston pickle with the picalilli. But that may just be my own food rules coming into play.

How is this not a ploughman’s lunch? What’s wrong with it? I see cold meat, cheese, bread, pickles, a hard boiled egg. Looks right to me.
Dena says
Do they still have this… Just found this post.
DFB Gigi says
Hi Dena! Unfortunately, the Ploughman’s Lunch is not being offered anymore. We do not know if it will come back or not.
Dena says
Well thank you. Hopefully can find something similar for our upcoming trip.
