The Cinderella Castle Suite at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom has been a dream of many since it was created over a decade ago, with stays in the Suite being largely available only to contest winners. But now, Disney has teamed up with a familiar entity to offer the chance to purchase a night in over-the-top Cinderella Castle Suite!
Believe it or not, a night in the Cinderella Castle Suite is up for grabs… on Ebay! (Click here to see the listing.) ESPN is teaming up with Disney to offer you the chance of a lifetime, and, quite possibly, the most magical night of sleep you’ll ever have. The auction is officially sponsored by ESPN, with fans bidding online to stay in the illustrious rooms at the center of Magic Kingdom. All of the proceeds benefit The V Foundation for Cancer Research.
In order to participate, you must pre-qualify to bid over $2000 in the Ebay auction. As of now, the current bid is over $26,000.
In addition to staying in the Cinderella Castle Suite, the winner of the auction will receive four 4-Day Park Hopper Plus Theme Park Tickets, four round trip coach airfare seats, four sets of round trip transportation on Disney’s Magical Express from Orlando International Airport, two nights in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, a one-day VIP Tour Guide, a $2000 Disney Gift Card, and breakfast at Cinderella’s Royal Table or The Crystal Palace.
Now THAT sounds like a magical time! So…you buyin’?
Will you be bidding for a night in the Cinderella Castle Suite? Let us know in the comments below!

Can you post the link? I can’t find it on eBay.

Other thing for the rich . Nothing for middle class hard working people … poor Walt , wonder what he would be saying today ?

Erin, I’ve updated the article with the link. 🙂

$7.75 shipping. Bwahahaha!!
That actually sounds pretty on par for price of all that so far. Or maybe if you added the meal plan. Lol
And I’m with Andrea on everything being ridiculous and not what Walt had envisioned now.
Stacey says
I think some people missed the part that said ONE HUNDRED PERCENT of the sale goes to charity.
Roz says
Today’s corporate Disney are money grubbing sellouts that Walt wouldn’t tolerate.
Keep special Disney activities for the “Everyman” through sweepstakes and contests with no requirements to spend money.
As a former WDW Cast Member I find these Auctions of Disney Dreams disgusting and disgraceful. Walt would HATE this!
Elizabeth says
But you guys… The money goes to cancer research not Disney… So Walt would probably be ok with that.
Lee reynolds says
Good luck to the winner, and hope the charity makes a huge amount
What a great idea for a prize
DisneyJean says
To those complaining about the price…this is a benefit auction, nothing the Disney Corp. is charging. People are spending and the money will go to Cancer research, I think Walt would be pleased. Am I missing something?
Tracy says
Lol how is this a contest?
DebC says
Anyway to pay for ESPN, the worst sports network on television.
Gary Krawchuk says
OMG Too rich for my blood
Tara says
I don’t have the means to be able to bid on it, but I like that 100% of the proceeds benefits a charity
Jacqueline Pack says
Sort of cool and congratulations to the ‘winner’, however even with the draw of staying in Cinderella’s Castle, which is worth a lot to me, I could not justify spending $26000 American dollars or more for this package. I’m going to Disney world at the busiest time of the year for 3 weeks in a deluxe resort with park hopper plus for 10 days and the dining plan and I am spending significantly less then $26,000…in CANADIAN DOLLARS!
Eddie says
There’s a Galaxy Edge VIP experience on there as well. If they really wanted cash they should give away an inaugural stay at the Star Wars hotel.

Its all for charity! None of the money is for profit. This is an incredibly generous donation from Disney and ESPN. For all the other things you are getting, plus the incredibly rare opportunity to spend the night in this Unicorn of suites, I think its a very generous prize for the lucky winning bid! The more someone is willing to pay for this package the more money goes to critical cancer research. So I hope it gets bid up and I am sad that I join probably most of you, in not being able to afford it. But I hope it leads to breakthroughs in Cancer research.
“100% of the sale of this item will benefit The V Foundation for Cancer Research
The V Foundation is a charitable organization dedicated to saving lives by helping to find a cure for cancer. The V Foundation seeks to make a difference by generating broad-based support for cancer research and by creating an urgent awareness among all Americans of the importance of the war against cancer. The V Foundation preforms these dual roles through advocacy, education, fundraising and philanthropy.”
Mg says
I agree. Only for the rich. Not for hard working people.
Tracy says
Wow this is no contest first of all. It is a platform for rich people to bid for the highest bid. A contest is where you have a chance to win on a drawing. I am glad it is for charity but to be fair to all maybe they should have had one ticket in the drawing for 100.00 and they have a minimum amount they want to meet to be able to draw. Then everyone has a chance to donate and win.
Kathy says
This sounds incredible!
Margaret Drayden says
Well, it’s for a good cause, but I’m afraid it’s out of my pocketbook range! $28K+ will pay my mortgage for over 2 years so I guess I’ll have to sleep at home instead of 1 night at WDW. lol
Sharon says
Even just one day at the park doing the minimum is outrageously expensive. I agree, Mr. Disney is shaking his head.
Stacey says
Don’t people realize that 100% of the sale is going to charity? The negative comments are sad.
MissBianca says
It sounds like a wonderful package, so long as they don’t stick the winner at one of the All Stars on their other nights (at Disney’s sole discretion). I would LOVE to be able to do this epic fantasy trip never before available at any price.
I don’t see how this can be considered part of WDW’s slow march to attract more upscale visitors. It’s a one-time offering with all of the money going to a charity. Not that I don’t think that’s happening (hello, after-hours events I’m looking at you) but this is a generous way to enable a large charitable donation.
Ferrcatmom says
Guys, the money goes to cancer research. I just got home from WDW with my niece who has 6 months to live bc of a brain tumor. I would pay anything if someone could cure her. I do believe that Walt would have been ok with this. It’s better than letting some celebrity stay there and nothing good gained from it.
Rose says
This isn’t a “contest”, this is yet another who has the most money gets what they want… Hey ESPN, how about paying for the night and the trip and opening up the “contest” to EVERYONE… Most of your viewers could never afford to participate and it’s a slap in their faces to put this out there like they would even have a chance at such an opportunity.
Claire says
Thanks for making this affordable for everyone.
