We’ve been keeping up with the construction progress of Takumi-Tei, that BRAND NEW signature dining experience coming to Epcot’s Japan Pavilion this summer!

And today we spotted some extra signage pop up in front of the building that we wanted to share!

Part of the construction wall around the Japan Pavilion has been removed, so we were able to snag some photos for ya! While the menu is still unavailable, we were excited to see the “Coming Soon” sign! Here’s where the menu will be posted SOON!

And here’s a bit of info about the theme of the restaurant — including the five different element rooms that we’ll be able to dine in: water, wood, earth, stone, and washi paper.

Though the restaurant is expected to open this summer, booking is not yet open for Takumi-Tei, and an opening date has not yet been announced. But stay tuned to Disney Food Blog for more updates!

There was a cast member with the signage on Wednesday and she said there would be a three day soft opening starting on the 5th!
I wish they had opened a Tempura take out place instead of another sit down restaurant!
So, after a 3 day soft opening, will it be available to book? Disney Dining knows nothing about it, only that it’s opening Summer 2019.
