While we’re anxiously awaiting the opening of Disney World’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Hollywood Studios is likely very busy preparing.
Today, we got confirmation from Disney World’s website that the March of the First Order will have its last performance on Hollywood Boulevard on Saturday, July 6.
But it sounds like we may not have to say goodbye to the show for good! According to Disney World’s website, “The First Order will be redeploying their troops to patrol Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge when the new land opens on August 29.”
We can’t wait to see the troops march down the streets of Batuu when the land opens on August 29!

What other changes like this do you expect? Do we think Jedi training will be ending too?
Do we think it will be the same in Galaxy’s edge or having them walk around like at Disneyland?
DFB Sarah says
Liza, we’ll have to wait and see what happens with the Jedi Training, but Disney has billed both Galaxy’s Edge lands as having characters roaming around with guests, so we would expect at least some Stormtroopers to be doing that. But, again, we’ll have to wait and see.

I was worried when I first read this. I love this March and I’ll really glad to see it go where it really belongs. Now that this is moving, it does make room for a new Parade down Hollywood Blvd so I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
