Wow, it’s been a summer of sign updates! And now we’ve got another one in Disney World’s Tomorrowland.
After a few new paint jobs within the land, we’ve now noticed that the whole dang SIGN is gone!
Yup, you read that right…as of today, the Tomorrowland sign is GONE. And we’re keeping our fingers crossed that Stitch didn’t steal it!
The sign is likely being refurbished. OR it may even be replaced by a brand new sign. What’s your guess?
We’re not gonna lie, the Tomorrowland entrance looks pretty freakin’ strange without it. Don’t ya think?
And you know what’s been left in its place? Two, large gray boxes, which were likely left to cover the holes the sign had left in the ground.
With the addition of TRON and Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary quickly approaching, it only makes sense that a few changes would be made throughout Tomorrowland and the rest of the park. Stay tuned to find out what they’ll be!

If they do make changes, I hope that they keep the People Mover and the Carousel of Progress. These are my favorite two attractions in this land. The only two that I actually go into the land for.
Not all of Disney’s changes are always good. They have taken out three attractions already that I loved… The Great Movie Ride, Universe of Energy, and the Circle of Life show. Now, they are closing other experiences that I like in Epcot including the Character Connection.. NOT EVERYONE is a THRILL – SEEKER! Disney needs to keep that in mind as they recreate these parks and add roller coasters. If I visit Toy Story Land in HS ever, it will only be for Midway Mania and the characters. I like the shows and family -friendly attractions the best.

It does look weird! I know change and upgrades are necessary, but I hope they keep enough the same to maintain that special classic Disney magic.
