I’ve seen several videos where you say to never pay rack rate for the rooms. But that doesn’t seem to be an option. We’re going in October, booked months ago. There is a discount for stays Sun-Thurs, and a discount for Passholders for October. And yes, our resort is included on the list. But our TA at SWV says that we can’t get either discount because there are no vacant rooms for our dates, and WDW won’t apply a discount to existing reservations if there aren’t open rooms. So it appears that rack rate is the only option for existing reservations unless there are other open rooms, which sounds like rebooking rather than applying a discount. Is that right? If so, your video is a bit misleading. Can we get some clarification?
