Welcome back to another roundup of What’s New in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
We’ve got a lot to tell you about today, including Star Wars merchandise and NEW macaroni and cheese.
Let’s get started!
Hollywood Studios Food Update
Pixar Place
During our visit, apple cobbler was not available at Neighborhood Bakery. A Cast Member said they hadn’t seen it for a couple of days and that there was a chance it wouldn’t come back. We’ll let you know if and when it does return!
Sunset Boulevard
Over near Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, KRNR The Rock Station has added two new flavors macaroni and cheese to the menu! According to a Cast Member, they will remove hotdogs from the menu and will instead feature macaroni and cheese on August 29th.
During our visit, we tried the Buffalo Chicken Macaroni and Cheese, and (spoiler alert) it was delicious! We loved the chicken bites and bleu cheese, though we would’ve loved even MORE bleu cheese.

Hollywood Studios Construction Update
Parking Lot
In the parking lot, we spotted a Disney+ advertisement featuring some of our favorite characters like Dory and Rocket. In case you missed it, Disney shared a whole bunch of details about the new streaming platform at the D23 Expo in Anaheim.

Commissary Lane
More walls have come down in the construction area across from Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant. During our most recent visit, we could start to see a structure being worked on back there.
We’ll keep you posted as we learn more about this construction work!
Echo Lake
Near Echo Lake, the walls are down but foliage is up around the building going up next to Epic Eats. We’ll keep you posted as we learn more about this building!
Hollywood Boulevard
On Hollywood Boulevard, we were bummed to notice the film strip sign had been removed. We’ll let you know if and when it reappears!
Also on Hollywood Boulevard, the construction area that was to the right of the Chinese Theater is back open.
We also noticed some new light fixtures, which appear to feature some unique Hidden Mickeys! As you likely know, construction is underway to convert The Great Movie Ride to Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway. This new attraction is set to open during the spring of 2020.

Sunset Boulevard
Legends of Hollywood

Hollywood Studios Merchandise Update
Celebrity 5&10
In Celebrity 5&10, we spotted a Star Wars spirit jersey ($64.99) we hadn’t seen before! The jersey is gray and features the franchise’s name in sparkly black letters with gold outlines.
We also noticed a super cute “Vacation Mode” shirt for $24.99, This one has Mickey sporting some nifty sunglasses!
Also in Celebrity 5&10, we noticed that the section of the store that used to be Adrian and Edith’s had the largest Halloween merch selection we saw in the park. We didn’t spot anything we hadn’t already seen before, but we couldn’t help but snap a few photos!

Legends of Hollywood
As we mentioned above, Legends of Hollywood is OPEN again and features dresses, purses, jewelry, and its very own Pandora shop!

While we were there, we spotted a super cool Darth Vader purse for $70. If you’ve been considering joining the Dark Side, now’s your chance. 😉
Once Upon a Time
Once Upon a Time
has removed its Pandora display (likely because of Legends of Hollywood’s Pandora shop), other pieces of jewelry were for sale during our most recent visit.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge items we previously saw in the land are now available throughout the parks. We spotted this merchandise in Once Upon a Time, in addition to Celebrity 5&10, Stage 1 Company Store, and Tatooine Traders.
We also spotted a Star Wars MagicBand for $30. This one features the Millennium Falcon on a blue background.
This would be the perfect thing to grab for the opening day of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge on August 29th!
