Maple-Bacon Bread Pudding

We’ve been live at the park trying out the Minnie Witch Shake, the Haul-O-Ween Churro, and the Blood Orange Slush! And now it’s time to try what quite possibly might be the BEST seasonal bread pudding EVER!!

You can find the MAPLE-BACON…yes bacon…Bread Pudding at Pacific Wharf Café for $5.39 (before an AP discount) this Halloween season.

This new bread pudding is topped with whipped cream, maple glaze, and candied bacon.

The bacon tasted like it had a bit of brown sugar on it, and there were a few tiny bits of bacon sprinkled throughout the bread pudding.

It was COVERED in maple glaze and the bread pudding had the best texture — soft, warm, and just what you’re looking for in a fall treat. There was also a really nice balance of sweet and salty and neither component overtook the other.

We have a fondness for bacon, so honestly, we LOVED this thing and we think it may even pass up our previous favorite, the Cheesecake Bread Pudding.

I mean, my mouth is STILL watering as I type this because it was so good.
