Hi DFB gang! Thanks for all your great Disney info! I was at WDW last week, and actually had one day where I hadn’t scheduled any fastpasses-preposterous, I know! My sisters and I went to Animal Kingdom late afternoon, and I was able to score an Expedition Everest fp 7 minutes before the window for it started! Success! I have another tip that I’ve found 90% successful. When booking, if you don’t see the exact time slot that you want, book one as close as possible. You can then go in and modify the time to get closer, or even right on, what you originally wanted. Flight of Passage, and Slinky Dog are def must grabs first. I find it’s a little easier to get Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, even when making last minute arrangements a few days before my trip.
One other thing, be courteous, and cancel your fastpass when you know you won’t be able to use it. Who knows? You could be making someone’s trip by doing so, when they’re able to get that last minute fastpass for a coveted ride. I had to cut my trip short to get home, and prepare for Dorian.(which turned out to be nothing here in S Fl-truly blessed). The only thing that made me feel better was knowing someone else would have the fun of getting my Slinky Dog, and Flight of Passage fastpasses!
