Avengers Campus Attractions
WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure
Avengers Campus has delivered the debut of WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure, the first ride-through Disney attraction to feature Spider-Man.
WEB SLINGERS is housed in the Worldwide Engineering Brigade (WEB, of course!) where Tony Stark has gathered innovators such as Peter Parker himself to invent new technologies which will equip everyday people to become Super Heroes!
During the attraction, guests are invited by inspiring inventors like Peter Parker to go for a test drive of the “Web-Slinger” vehicle.
However, riders must put their superhero skills to the test…
How? By slinging virtual webs to catch the Spider-Bots that have started to wreak panic!
Check out WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure HERE!
Height requirement: None
Ages: All
Access: Standby Line and Lightning Lane Multi Pass option
Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!
WEB SLINGERS joined the previously open Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! attraction in Disney California Adventure.
It’s up to YOU to help Rocket rescue his fellow Guardians of the Galaxy (Star-Lord, Gamora, Rocket, Drax and Groot) as they have been capture by Taneleer Tivan, the Collector! This thrill ride features free-fall drop sequences and six different storylines. Oh, and an AWESOME soundtrack, of course!

Avengers Campus Dining
Fuel your inner Super Hero with eats, treats, and drinks on Avengers Campus!
Pym Test Kitchen serves up eats that have been “enlarged or shrunk with Pym Particles,” for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner with cooks under the instruction of Ant-Man and The Wasp.
Check out the “massive meals, tiny treats and shareable bites” on the menu at this quick service restaurant!
And if you’d like to see what the Kitchen is serving for breakfast, just click here!

At the Pym Tasting Lab, of-age guests may order from a selection of craft beers or enjoy “one of the Pym Research Staff’s Pym Particle-infused cocktail experiments.”
Take a look at some of the creative concoctions at the PYM Tasting Lab here!
And, by invitation of The Avengers, the Shawarma Palace has opened a “second location” on the Campus (with the first, of course, being their favorite shawarma joint back in NYC). The cart, decorated with Avengers memorabilia, serves shawarma-inspired snacks.
See what the Shawarma Palace is serving up HERE!
And guess what? If the Shawarma Palace is busy during your visit, there is also a Shawarma Palace Too where you can grab similar eats!
Another food cart, Terran Treats, serves intergalactic sweets…
…like Sweet Spiral Rations (rolled churros!) and a Cosmic Cream Orb!

Become a warrior with some of your favorite Black Panther characters at Warriors of Wakanda: The Disciplines of the Dora Milaje!
The shows aren’t the only place to find your favorite heroes (and villains), though…
Avengers Campus Character Encounters
Guests visiting Avengers Campus can anticipate the possibility of “heroic encounters” with characters such as Iron Man, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Black Widow, Doctor Strange, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Black Panther, the Dora Milaje, and Thor.
See ALL the Marvel characters we spotted on Avengers Campus here!
Ant-Man and The Wasp make appearances on Avengers Campus!
And Iron Man dons his new Mark 80 armor.
And the Taskmaster (from Black Widow), whose abilities include “photographic reflexes” which “reflect Super Hero moves” is also seen for the first time here.
Essentially, you never know exactly who you’ll see from the Marvel Universe, and that’s definitely part of the fun! As more Marvel characters make their way to the big screen, like the Eternals…
… and the Universe further explores the stories of characters like Hawkeye, you can expect to see more and more characters on Avengers Campus!
Depending on film and series releases, select characters may be seen just for a limited time. For instance, the Scarlet Witch and America Chavez appeared in tandem with the release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Moon Knight and the mild-mannered Mr. Knight have made appearances. For a limited time, the Mighty Thor (Jane Foster) from Thor: Love and Thunder made appearances, as well. And the Incredible Hulk appeared in Avengers Campus in his Quantum Suit for a limited time! M’Baku from Wakanda Forever has made appearances at Avengers Campus, as has Kang the Conqueror of Antman and the Wasp: Quantumania.
Carol Danvers, Kamala Khan, and Captain Monica Rambeau arrived on Avengers Campus with the release of The Marvels. For a time, Nick Fury shared some “keen insights, bright observations and invaluable advice as he invited younger recruits to join S.H.I.E.L.D. and take an oath to defend Earth with the help of his training aides.”
And a limited-time O.B. and Loki meet and greet arrived during the streaming of new episodes of Loki Season 2 on Disney+
And you may be as surprised as we were to learn that Wade Wilson (Deadpool) and Wolverine hit the scene surrounding the release of Deadpool & Wolverine!

Avengers Campus Merchandise and Shopping
There are new merchandise locations in Avengers Campus, as well — WEB Suppliers, Avengers Vault, The Collector’s Warehouse, and Campus Supply Pod.
WEB Suppliers sells Spider-Bots, action figures, and more. The Spider-Bots are similar to those you’ll see in the new WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure attraction. These bots can be customized (much like droids at Droid Depot in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge).
You can even snag tactical upgrades that will change your bots’ appearance and battle capabilities. These include Black Panther, Iron Man, Black Widow, Ant-Man, and The Wasp.
Click here to see the SPIDER-BOTS in action!
And see TONS of the merchandise at WEB Suppliers and the Campus Supply Pod here!
You may want to check out the customizable WEB Tech accessories! Everyone will be able to sling webs aboard the new WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure attraction, but these accessories allow you to use your OWN powers to experience a different ride.
Onboard the ride, your WEB Power Band will feature an “attraction mode” that lets you personalize the game experience with “multi-fire.” That base costs $34.99.
The WEB Power Band add-ons include powers inspired by Spider-Man, Ghost Spider, Iron Man, or Rescue, and cost $29.99 apiece.
Check out our on-ride experience with WEB Power Bands HERE!
In September 2023, a new store called Avengers Vault opened, featuring “Infinity Saga Relics…apparel and other fan-favorite merchandise.”
The Disneyland website shares: “The Avengers Vault staff have Level 7 clearance, allowing them to handle these powerful artifacts and ensure that they don’t end up in the wrong hands…”
You can also stop by the Campus Supply Pod to gear up in Avengers Campus goods like hoodies, shirts, hats, drinkware, and more featuring the Campus logo. And The Collector’s Warehouse is where you can find toys, more apparel, and even comics!
Opening Day
Avengers Campus was originally scheduled to open on July 18, 2020. However, due to the unprecedented closure of the park, the opening of the land was delayed. In April 2021, a NEW opening date was announced, and Avengers Campus officially opened on June 4, 2021!
HEROES ASSEMBLE!
The Future of Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure
In September 2022, it was announced that a NEW attraction will be part of an upcoming expansion of Avengers Campus! Get ready to go deeper into the MULTIVERSE…
Though the name of the new ride has not yet been announced, we know that guests will battle villains — including the new King Thanos — from everywhere (and “everywhen”) alongside the Avengers and their allies.
And, at Destination D23 in September 2023, Brent Strong from Disney Imagineering explained the idea behind the new ride: The Avengers have developed a new technology that allows Avengers Campus to become a sort of a hub for the Multiverse. This includes a new vehicle that can transport “recruits” to new worlds in a split second to go on a multi-world mission.
He also shared an early look at the NEW ride vehicle, which will feature “a design that combines elements of Tony Stark’s time-suits with Xandarian jump points and Wakandan technology,” according to Disney.
And at D23 — The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in 2024, Disney revealed a NEW look at two pieces for the attraction. First was at the design for King Thanos himself.
Disney also shared a new look at the attraction’s ride vehicle — specifically a maquette was available to view.
According to Disney, the vehicle itself is actually “key” to the story of the ride. In the ride, you’ll join the Avengers on a “multi-world mission spanning destinations across the universe.” You’re able to travel to these unique destinations because — thanks to collaborations between inventors at Avengers Campus — the Avengers have been able to create a new vehicle that’s “capable of jumping between these worlds and even realities — on planet Earth and beyond.”
Global Avengers Initiative
The presence of the Avengers expands to Disney parks beyond Disney California Adventure with the global Avengers Initiative, with new experiences and “interconnected stories” in Disneyland Paris and Hong Kong Disneyland!
Disney has shared that “the Avengers are setting up new Headquarters and technology sharing exchanges around the globe to empower and inspire all potential recruits willing to step up and become heroes.”
Avengers Experiences – Hong Kong Disneyland
In Hong Kong Disneyland, guests can already take part in two attractions: the Iron Man Experience and Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle.
Avengers Campus — Disneyland Paris
Walt Disney Studios Park in Disneyland Paris opened an Avengers Campus, as well, on June 20, 2022! The land is similar to the Avengers Campus already in Disney’s California Adventure, but it features TWO attractions — Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure and Avengers Assemble: Flight Force. (A multi-year expansion for the park will also include themed areas for Star Wars and Frozen.)
Avengers Assemble: Flight Force is a high-speed coaster where recruits are briefed by Iron Man, and then join him as well as Captain Marvel on a mission through space in a Stark vehicle! The vehicle is equipped with a homing device to help you lure a threat away from planet Earth. (Note that there is a height requirement of 47 inches for this coaster.)
And on June 21, 2021, a new hotel experience opened in Paris with Disney’s Hotel New York — The Art of Marvel in Paris!
The hotel’s design was created by more than 110 artists who showcase Marvel artwork throughout the lobby, rooms, and beyond. Designers drew direct inspiration from Tony Stark’s Wall of Armor with collector figurines, art books, exclusive editions of Marvel Comics, and more items to add to the overall architecture of the boutique building.
In November 2020, Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Josh D’Amaro shared that that the hotel is built with the idea of “celebrating 80 years of Marvel storytelling in a typical New York setting with a contemporary art deco style, which will include one of the largest publicly viewable collections or marvel artwork in the world.”
The four-star Hotel New York has 561 rooms with references to all kinds of Marvel stories, like Spider-Man’s webs on the ceiling of the Spider-Man Suite or the realm of Asgard from Thor on the Avengers Suites’ headboards.
There’s even the Art of Marvel Presidential Suites with two floors, contemporary and sleek furniture, exclusive Marvel artwork in every room, and additional amenities.
