On December 16th of this year, Disney World’s Riviera Resort will open to the public, but TODAY, we got a first look at the newest Disney Vacation Club property.
While we’ve already seen the menus for Topolino’s Terrace — Flavors of the Riviera, we were excited to get a first taste of some of the food items themselves. Let’s chat about our FIRST LOOK at the Riviera Resort’s FOOD!
As you may know, Disney’s Riviera Resort is inspired by Walt and Lillian Disney’s travels to France and Italy. Chefs James and Michael have taken this inspiration to the resort’s menus as well.
Topolino’s Terrace
Topolino’s Terrace — Flavors of the Riviera will be located atop the resort, and it will offer a pre-fixe character breakfast and signature dinner. On the menu, you’ll find many influences from Europe’s Riviera region. Today, we got to explore a few of Topolino’s breakfast options!
Perhaps you’ll want to start your day with a nutritious Fruit Plate, which features an array of seasonal fruits, honey yogurt, and seed granola.
You’ll also be able to try the Pomegranate Dip Cooler, which combines Odwalla Lemonade with pomegranate and mint.
Isn’t the color so cheerful??
For a more savory dish, Quiche Gruyère will also be on the menu. This quiche comes with a field greens salad with a lemon vinaigrette dressing.Â
While we only got to take photos of several of the items, we did get to try the quiche and we really enjoyed it! The textures and flavors were spot-on.
While we didn’t get to try it, the Burrata looked yummy as well! It features Burrata cheese, Black Winter truffles, Olio d’ Olivia, and seed lavosh. Look at those shaved truffled on top!! YUM.
Wrapping up our look at the items from Topolino’s is the Mariné Olives. These are seasoned with lemon, garlic, marjoram, and bay leaves.Â

Le Petit Cafe
Le Petit Cafe will likely be a popular place once it opens! According to the chefs, it gets its name from The Aristocats and will push the bar on fast-casual food options. Today, we got a sneak peek at the location’s Lemon Madeleines, which almost look too cute and yummy to eat!

Primo Piatto and Bar Riva
Primo Piatto (the resort’s quick-service location) and Bar Riva (the poolside bar) will offer many of the same menu items, including the ones pictured below. First up, the Acai Yogurt & Berry Parfait, which comes with chocolate granola.
We got to try one of these parfaits, and we enjoyed it! While it wasn’t anything out of the ordinary, the fruit was fresh and good.
Though we didn’t get to try it, the Tuna Niçoise Salad looks colorful, nutritious, and delicious. It features a Dijon vinaigrette dressing.
Last, but certainly not least, we tried the Blueberry-Lemon Pancakes, which come with a generous amount of mascarpone cream and a side of bacon.
These pancakes were the MAJOR highlight of the food we tried! They were fluffy, the blueberries were delicious, and we wish we could’ve eaten a lot more, honestly.

Before we wrap up our journey through some of the eats coming to Riviera Resort, we just had to show you how adorable the resort’s logo looked on our cup of coffee!
As we mentioned before, Disney’s Riviera Resort will open on December 16th, and we’re looking to trying each of these new restaurants when they open!
