Hello there, world travelers! Welcome to our latest roundup of What’s New in Epcot.
We’ve got a lot to cover today, including construction updates, macaron packaging, and some adorable new merch! Let’s get started.
Epcot Food Update
Future World
Let’s kick things off in Future World, where we saw the returning Green Cauldron Popcorn Bucket for $17!
We spotted the spooky popcorn bucket at the gourmet popcorn stand near Electric Umbrella. If it looks familiar to you, that’s because we found it at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party last year. Unfortunately, it has increased in price by two dollars since last year, but it IS pretty cool looking!

World Showcase
Another Halloween-themed popcorn bucket is available in World Showcase! We spotted the Oogie Boogie Popcorn Bucket (which we previously found in Magic Kingdom) for $18 at the Canada popcorn cart.
We confirmed with a Cast Member that the Oogie bucket can be filled with maple popcorn and we are not at all mad about it. 🙂

Over in the Italy Pavilion, the seasonal outdoor wine bar has added a Santa Margherita Rosé to its offerings.
You can try a 5-ounce pour of the wine for $10.50.
New macaron packaging has arrived at Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie in the France Pavilion!
We spotted back in July that Les Halles was making a shift towards more naturally based flavors and colorings in their baked goods. While they have not yet updated their macarons with more natural ingredients, they now have updated packaging that greatly reduces the amount of plastic being used!

Epcot Construction Update
Future World
In case you haven’t heard, Epcot is in the middle of a HUGE transformation. Construction walls are just about everything, including the area near the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind coaster.
Due to the addition of new construction walls, guests can no longer walk in front of the coaster construction area or in front of the former Wonders of Life Pavilion.
The Guardians of the Galaxy attraction is expected to open in time for Disney World’s 50th-anniversary celebrations in 2021 and we’re already counting down the days!

Construction is also underway on the Space 220 restaurant, which is expected to open sometime this year. While we can’t see any of the construction on the inside yet, we know it’s going to offer some really awesome views of “space.”

Near Test Track, we noticed some new registers outside The Donut Box. This booth will join the Food and Wine Festival lineup on October 1st, along with Cool Wash. When it opens, you’ll be able to grab donut holes, smoothies, and other snacks here.

World Showcase
LOTS of construction is underway in Epcot’s France Pavilion, as it prepares to welcome THREE new experiences in 2020.
The Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along will open in January, while Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and La Crêperie de Paris will both open next summer.

Epcot Merchandise Update
Sportsman’s Shoppe
If you enjoy Fish and Chips as much as we do, you NEED to check out the new merchandise we found in Sportsman’s Shoppe. We spotted a youth shirt for $19.99…
…a maroon v-neck shirt for $29.99…
a black and white shirt for $34.99…
…and some pint glasses for $13.99 each!
You wouldn’t expect Fish and Chips-themed merch to be cute, but in this case, it totally is!

Volkskunst
Over in the Germany Pavilion, we spotted an ADORABLE Minnie dress in Volkskunst for $128!
It’s made by The Dress Shop (the same makers of those adorable vintage-style dresses you see around the parks) and is styled after a traditional German dirndl. We love the added touch of the black bow!

Did you know you could get your face painted as part of this year’s Food and Wine Festival? Well, yesterday, we learned that you can! For $20-$25 (depending on design) you can get your face painted in a food-centric fashion around the Outpost area.
You can even get a Dole Whip-looking design for $20.
Check out all the designs here!
