My view of the current Disney #skyliner saga. Feel so bad for everyone on board and hopefully it’s moving again soon. pic.twitter.com/1wI8oWMSgp

Following this incident, it should come as no surprise that the Disney Skyliner is currently closed until further notice. Disney has not confirmed any reopening timeframe at this time.
Our team can confirm the gondolas are NOT moving at press time.
We will continue to update as more news becomes available.
J Kroll says
My wife and I went to Hollywood Studios to ride the skyline on Monday the 30th. Sugar Ray was playing at Epcot so we left on the skyline at 5:30 from HS, we made it for the first part of the ride , but on the way to Epcot we got stuck for like an hour or so . When we did go they had us get off at the Riviera stop and had to wait to get a bus to Epcot. We got to Epcot at 8:10 and it was crowded like new years eve, by the time I got to the American Garden Theater I heard Sugar Ray say Thank You and Good Night. And then it rained at the time of illuminations the end.
