Greetings World Travelers and Future World Citizens!
That’s right, we’ve got a round up of everything new we spotted in Epcot today. So read on to find out all of our food, construction, and merchandise updates in this edition of What’s New in Epcot!
Epcot Food Update
Coral Reef Restaurant
We’ve seen a couple new updates around Future World and one of those is these pretty new menus at Coral Reef Restaurant. There are no new items on the menu, but a few of the items are being highlighted to help celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Little Mermaid on November 17. According to servers at the restaurant, chefs have also made a few flavor enhancements to menu items so that they’re a little more special!
Check out the Dinglehopper Shrimp Cocktail for $15 or the Chef Louis’ Lobster Seafood Roll for $40 that have been renamed and enhanced for the anniversary.
We also spotted the King Triton Key Lime Tart for $9. Plus, the menus are yours to keep while supplies last!
Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe
Over in the Norway Pavilion, Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe has released a bunch of new Frozen 2 treats in preparation for the movie’s release on November 22. Check out this lemony Fall Cheesecake that features our favorite snowman for $5.99.
We also spotted this super pretty (and tasty!) Caramel Mousse for $5.99. With its beautiful mirror blue glaze, this treat almost looks too good to eat!
If you love cupcakes as much as we do, you might be excited to see this set of four Mini Spirit Cupcakes. Each one is themed to one of the four elements and is made with either chocolate or vanilla cake and buttercream icing with a twist based on the theme. Snag all four of these little treats for $7.49.
And if you’re in to those souvenir sippers, there’s a new Frozen 2 Sipper for $12.19. It comes filled with Frozen Orange Cream Soda that tastes a little bit like drinking a creamsicle.

La Cava del Tequila
Over in the Mexico Pavilion, we saw a small change to the menu at La Cava del Tequila. The Cucumber Margarita is no longer there and has been replaced with the Strawberry Margarita. Get sippin’ on this tasty drink for $15.50.
It used to be that a frozen version of the Strawberry Margarita was featured as a specialty item, but now it’s an official part of the menu!
Epcot Construction Update
Entrance Area
Of course, with the Epcot transformation starting to get off the ground we’ve seen more and more construction appear around the park entrance.
There’s a new tram pick up and drop off spot as construction continues in other parts of the Epcot parking lot.
And the security and bag check area is updated to ease traffic.
Space 220 Restaurant
It’s hard to spot any changes to the construction at Space 220, the space-themed restaurant next to Mission Space, because it appears all of the construction is now taking place inside.
With an opening date set for sometime before 2020, it’s no surprise that construction seems to be wrapping up.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
The old Universe of Energy attraction continues to transform as construction moves forward on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will be Disney’s first reverse-launch coaster. There’s no opening date announced yet and there still appears to be a good amount of work to do on the building, but it’s likely the coaster will open before Disney World’s 50th Anniversary in 2021.

Molly says
I had the strawberry margarita last month and it was delicious. Which is good, because the passionfruit is not as good as it used to be.
