Today has been a HUGE Disney date day!
Not only did Disney announce that dates for the 2020 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, but they have also released the dates for the 2020 Lunar New Year celebrations!
The Lunar New Year celebrations will kick off at Disney California Adventure on January 17, 2020 and will run until February 9, 2020.
2020 is the Year of the Mouse and DCA will be celebrating with “multicultural performances, fun-filled activities, beautiful décor, delicious cuisine, and specialty merchandise.”
Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession will return along with other fun-filled celebrations that “commemorate traditions of Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese cultures.”
Annnd keep those eyes peeled because a few familiar faces should also be joining in on the fun by meetin’ and greetin’ guests throughout the celebration!

Oooh! I’ve wanted to go for ages! Do you think the crowds will be supersized because of Rise of the Resistance on opening day? I’d only be able to attend opening day.

Anna, that’s a good (and unanswerable) question. I would expect crowds to be higher than average, but Disneyland Park seemed to handle the Galaxy’s Edge influx well, so maybe it won’t make too much of an impact.
