Halloween is just hours away but things are starting to get festive already at Disney’s Contemporary Resort! The Contemporary Resort’s Gingerbread Castle in Disney World is going up AS WE SPEAK!

The beloved Gingerbread House has found its home back on the 4th floor of the Contemporary Resort, just past the Contemporary shops on the Grand Canyon Concourse.

Basking in all of its sun-soaked glory in front of the large windows, construction has begun to Christmas-ify the Contemporary Resort.

The castle is a clear nod to Mary Blair, Disney imagineer and artist responsible for the design of “it’s a small world” in the parks as well as the amazing mural opposite the gingerbread castle in the Contemporary itself.

We’re expecting the display to feature, once again, the figures of Cinderella and her Prince Charming as they greet Contemporary Resort guests through the holiday season. No need to haul out the holly, because it’s already there along with some Christmas tree cutouts.

Perhaps our favorite feature of the display, we spy the Cinderella Castle Gingerbread Snack Stand off to the left making its grand return.
