Greetings ghosts and ghouls, and Happy Halloween!!
We headed over to Disney’s BoardWalk to see what kind of changes we could spot and to catch up on all the fun Halloween activities that the resort would be offering today. Check out what we found in this edition of What’s New at Disney’s BoardWalk!
Food Updates at Disney’s BoardWalk
Ample Hills Creamery
The BoardWalk has a lot of great dining options and since we happen to have a sweet tooth, we love to head over to Ample Hills Creamery. SO, imagine how excited we were when we spotted this messy and delicious-looking Ice Cream Taco!
This ice cream stuffed taco is $8.99 and comes with unlimited toppings! Yes… UNLIMITED! The Cast Members really load these treats up with ice cream so you’ll want to be hungry if you stop in for one.

Of course, there’s one MASSIVE sweet at Ample Hills that isn’t for eating… This super cool Sleepy Hollow display! The chefs handcrafted this awesome Halloween confection and it’s made entirely from chocolate.
BoardWalk Bakery
Next, we stopped at the BoardWalk Bakery to see what kind of fun treats (or tricks!) we could find! First off was this yummy-looking Pumpkin Cheese Danish for $3.99 or a snack credit if you’re on the Disney Dining Plan. It came complete with chocolate cobweb. Spooky!
We also noted that some limited time treats were still in the case at the Bakery like the Bat Caramel Cream Puff for $4.29. The Caramel Cream Puff is usually in the case, but you can likely expect those bat wings and the edible purple sugar to vanish after today.
The tricky Mickey Halloween Topper is still sitting on the Banana Pudding as well. If you want to get this treat in its spookiest version, you may wanna stop in today and nab it for $4.79.
For guests with dietary constrictions, we also found these Erin McKenna’s Bakery Brownie Bites that are gluten-free, soy-free, dairy-free, refined sugar-free, and egg-free.
BoardWalk Joe’s
Next, we monster-mashed our way over to BoardWalk Joe’s to check-in on any new eats. Boy, were we excited to find that they now have a jalapeño cheese sauce for their Mickey Pretzels AND it’s made fresh every day!
They also had new Jalapeño Stuffed Pretzels so if you like a little heat, BoardWalk Joe’s has you covered! You can get either jalapeño offering for $6.79.
ScreenDoor General Store
Finally, we checked in on the Frozen Glacier flavors at ScreenDoor General Store and all their slushy goodness…
…and the bakery case which was stocked full of tasty looking cookies and treats.
We’ll be dreaming about those chocolate apples later!
BoardWalk Merchandise Updates
Lobby
There are a couple new merchandise items around Disney’s BoardWalk as well, but we’re definitely still seeing a strong Halloween theme.
In the lobby, we did notice that the FuelRod kiosk had been updated to announce the $3 swapping fee that goes into effect tomorrow.
Dundy’s Sundries
We also spotted this stylish and classic new Fanny Pack for Disney Vacation Club Members over at Dundy’s Sundries! Members can make it theirs for $39.99.
ScreenDoor General Store
ScreenDoor General Store had a few merchandise updates like this new Frozen 2 shelf with play-sets, clothes, and mugs.
We also spotted these new Storybook Playsets! They look like books that open up to reveal little worlds inspired by favorite characters. There’s one for Minnie Mouse, Princess Rapunzel, and Princess Ariel.
These cost $19.99. Here’s a peek inside the Minnie Mouse set!
As always, the Pin Trading Board is loaded with a variety of collectible pins. Stop in and see if there’s any you’ve been looking for!
And the General Store is offering the Bonus Holiday Tote deal! Make a purchase of $40 or more and the tote comes for just $24.99.

Events and Activities at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort
BoardWalk Village Green
There’s plenty of frightful fun in the making at BoardWalk as well. We noticed that set-up had begun yesterday for today’s Halloween festivities. Guests can stop in at the Village Green today for games and candy from 5:30 – 8 PM. Then there’s a DJ from 7 – 10 PM!
Lobby
The lobby had a few informative postings up like this poster that gives all the information runDisney’s Wine & Dine Half Marathon that is taking place this weekend.
Disney is also offering a few discounts for marathon runners this weekend! Check those out here.
And there was a super cute Cast Member Pumpkin Decorating display. Cast Members at the BoardWalk Resort were encouraged to participate in this spooky pumpkin contest.
And here’s the winner of the Most Disney award! This Haunted Mansion-inspired pumpkin display is positively chilling (maybe because it’s so cool)!
For more info on all the Halloween activities today, check out this posting in the lobby that lists them all.
Bonus! We spotted this group of Cast Members coming from the Disney Imagineers Halloween Party at Atlantic Dance Hall. Check out the super cute 1920’s flair to their princess costumes!
So, there you have it! That’s everything new at Disney’s BoardWalk today. If you’re strolling through the area today, stop in for some spooky fun!

Elaine says
We love the Boardwalk and always stay in the area at Swan & Dolphin or a Disney Resort, however, if you aren’t staying there parking IS a problem, which I feel accounts for the low crowds. On our last visit in February we stayed at the Swan, checked out, drove around a while, then came back to the Boardwalk and were not allowed to park in the main parking lot behind Boardwalk Resort. We told the guard attendant that we just wanted to shop and grab lunch somewhere. She said if we were going to eat lunch at Yacht Club or Beach Resort we would have to park there. We got tired of arguing with this grouchy, irritable cast member and left.
