It’s a new day in Epcot and that means more progress towards the park’s transformation.
We checked out everything new in Epcot today with construction, menus, and merch and we’re bringing you a roundup of what we found! Read on to find out what’s new in Epcot!
Epcot Food Update
Italy Pavilion
We spotted a few new packaged snacks around the World Showcase like this cute and new-to-us Chocolate Truffles Bottle! This could make an awesome gift and can be found at La Bottega Italia in the Italy Pavilion for $18.99.
Germany Pavilion
We also found this hearty-looking German Pork Salami Snack at Weinkeller for $3.99. This might be a good option if you need a quick and inexpensive pick-me-up during your day in the park. AND it’s gluten-free!
As for menu changes, we’ve seen a new menu board at Karamell-Küche in the Germany Pavilion. You might notice some changes to the Caramel Popcorn pricing. It used to be that there were two sizes, a small for $3.99 or a large for $5.99.
Now, that Caramel Popcorn comes in one large size for $6.99 or a Disney Dining Plan Snack Credit.
You can read more about the changes at Karamell-Küche here!
Epcot Construction Update
Future World
As always, we’re checking in on construction over at Space 220, the upcoming space-themed restaurant that’s set to open this winter. Construction is still pretty well hidden at the main building for the restaurant, so we haven’t seen any exterior changes. Most of the work is likely on the interior.
However, we did spot this mysterious little construction barrier over on the side of the Mission: SPACE attraction entrance! Could it be the entrance to the much anticipate Space 220?

Aaaand we stopped by the old Universe of Energy pavilion to see what’s new with the in-progress Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind coaster. We noticed that there’s a new construction barrier around the base of the monorail tracks and more of the pathway has been blocked off near the coaster.
Plus, there was a crane while we were there so it seems as if they’re doing some heavy lifting. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is set to open before Disney World’s 50th Anniversary in 2021.
Read all about Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind here!
We also saw a few updates at The Seas with Nemo and Friends. There were some updates to the aquarium frames.
And some new carpeting throughout the pavilion!
World Showcase
Lastly, we saw some construction workers over at Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Crafts & Barbecue in the American Adventure Pavilion. Regal Eagle should be opening this winter and we’ve seen a first look at the menu as well!
Take a peek at the Regal Eagle menu here!

Kelsey Prescott says
Epcot stinks right now. And WHY the increase on the popcorn?!?! WHY NOT JUST OFFER ONE LARGE AT 5.99?! Frustrating with that park and with Disney on their endless nickle and dime-ing.
Karen King says
I am loving the Swarvoski crystal necklaces! I really regret not buying the Mickey Swarvoski
pendant I saw in Magic Kingdom two years ago in a cart stall by pirates of the Caribbean ride! Does any one know or has seen anything similar around Disney? I’m going next July!!
