We love exploring all the Walt Disney World resorts that set up lively Christmas and Gingerbread displays during the holiday season. A favorite every year is in the lobby of the BoardWalk Inn.

On this visit, we had our sights set on one thing: HOLIDAY TREATS!
While we were sipping on our Gingerbread Martini and admiring the gingerbread display, we eyed the sweet treat selections at the gingerbread treat stand. The options here include Gingerbread Mickey, Peppermint Bark, and an assortment of bagged cookies, but we just HAD to try the Jumbo Coconut Macaroon.

It was perfectly moist and coconutty with high-quality chocolate dipped on the bottom. It had a nice even toast on the outside but was just right inside! This treat is a coconut lover’s dream!

Oooh, Ooooh, can you tell me if it’s made with flour (wheat)? Some of them are and some of them aren’t…. oh please oh please say there is no wheat!
Are these different than the ones in the bakery? I used a snack credit on one from the Boardwalk bakery Friday night, it was so good! Then I saw them at the gingerbread display later that night and figured I’d buy more in the morning when we checked out…but the treats weren’t out at the gingerbread display since it was so early in the morning and we didn’t have time to go to the bakery :'(
I wish they shipped treats! I’ve googled 3 times this week looking for a copycat recipe!
