Can you believe that Rise of the Resistance is almost here?!
This hotly anticipated ride at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is set to open in Disney World on December 5th, and today we learned that the opening day will include extended park hours for Hollywood Studios!
On December 5th, Hollywood Studios will be open from 8 AM to 10 PM, extending both its opening and closing hours by one hour for the day in anticipation of the Rise of the Resistance opening, which will likely bring in a large increase of travelers to the planet of Batuu!
While currently no Extra Magic Hours have been announced for Hollywood Studios, it looks like both Animal Kingdom and Epcot will be hosting morning Extra Magic Hours on December 5th, likely to try and draw some of the crowds away from the new ride opening.
We are SO excited that Rise of the Resistance is almost here! Will you be taking a trip to Batuu for opening day?

All the other parks seem to have increased hours through the Holidays. No annocemnt from Hollywood Studios yet, surely they will… Won’t they? We arrive on 24th Dec and leave on the 3rd of Jan. We can’t wait to see GE and ride rise of the resistance. Eeee
