Time to rev up those mac and cheese eatin’ engines — a.k.a yo’ mouths!

We’re rollin’ down to Disney World to check out the lastest mac and cheese craze to blow into town — the Texas Chili Mac and Cheese at Disney Springs’ Mac and Cheese Food Truck!

While we’re SUPER pumped to sample the newest offering of this rolling homage to noodle and cheese, sadly one of our favorites, the Bacon Cheeseburger Macaroni and Cheese had to be stricken from the menu to make way for the Texas Chili Mac. Sorry, pardner — your candle burned out long before your legend ever will.

But this new Texas Chili Mac and Cheese is SOOOO promising! It features a four-cheese blend and comes topped with crunchy corn chips! And hearty chili too, of course! It looks seriously LEGIT!

And after tasting the Texas Chili Mac and Cheese, we feel our sadness over losing Bacon Cheeseburger Mac slowly disappearing. The chili is seasoned really well and has a nice texture to it, including some beans! We love beans in our chili, but that’s just us!

The corn chips also lend a nice crunch and saltiness to the mac and cheese, which is soft and creamy! (Frito Pie on Mac? SOLD.)

Now, we noticed that the Mac and Cheese Food Truck was dishing out their mac and cheese in big cardboard boats instead of the bowls they’d been using previously. To us, the portion looked different, but a Cast Member assured us it was the same serving size as in the past.
