The 2020 Epcot International Festival of the Arts is just around the corner (and we are SO ready for all the merch, entertainment, and more coming to the park)!
While you might have to wait to try the food for yourself, we’ve got a sneak peek at the AH-MAZING eats and treats coming to the festival this year.
This year’s Festival of the Arts will run from January 17th through February 24th. And, although we’ve given you the deets on the full menus and food being baked up at the festival, we’re taking you with us to preview the Food Studios!
Pop Eats
First up, we got a preview of some of the modern offerings from Pop Eats. Let’s get innovative! We got a taste of the new Sous Vide Chicken Roulade with Apples and Sage served with Warm Brie Fondue, Blueberry and Beet Gel and garnished with Beet Chip Crumbles.
This dish is literally SO PRETTY! The sauces look just like paint drizzled right onto the plate with their vibrant colors. The chicken is seriously excellent too. The sous vide cooking method leaves the portion perfectly cooked. We could even see this dish being served at a Table Service restaurant because of how high quality it is!
The dessert option at Pop Arts is the Almond Frangipane Cake layered with Raspberry Jam and Belgian Chocolate
This is actually a returning favorite from the festival last year, but it looks a little different. The cake used to have many more layers and has now been reduced to only five. Still, all of the ingredients are the same so we enjoyed this one!
There’s a yummy dessert wine option coming to this booth too. The Florida Orange Groves Winery Black and Blue Port from Decadent Delights comes from close by too.
This port makes for a super sweet and heady sip! We say it’s pretty drinkable but still super complex. If port wine is your thing, you’ll love it. We sure did.
Masterpiece Kitchen
Next up we got a glimpse of the offerings at The Masterpiece Kitchen (the perfect place to eat and sip together). One item here is potentially the prettiest dessert we’ve ever seen, the Vanilla, Rose Water and Pistachio Panna Cotta.
Seriously, LOOK AT THIS! We are loving this dessert inside and out honestly. It’s very unique and all-around delightful. You can definitely taste the rose water which makes it both wonderful and different.
And of course, it wouldn’t be The Masterpiece Kitchen without an interesting wine offering. We tried the Pinord La Dama Reserva Familiar Brut Rosé from Spain.
This wine is a refreshing sparkling rosé that we would definitely have again! So nice and bubbly!
The Deconstructed Dish
Movin’ on to the funkiest festival booth, it’s The Deconstructed Dish! Today, we got to try the Sliced Corned Beef, Rye-crusted Sauerkraut and Jarlsberg Cake with Broken Thousand Island Dressing.
This is definitely the heftiest dish we tried and it was sooooooo good. It really seems like a large portion (there’s a whole pickle!) so it should totally fill you up. Every aspect of the dish, especially the yummy Jarlsberg cake, was excellently cooked as well!
The Deconstructed Dish is also home to a unique non-alcoholic specialty beverage: Rainboba, made with Sparkling Water layered with Fruit Boba and topped with a Foam Cloud.
Alright, we’ll level with you. We can’t decide if this one is really pretty or kind of offputting. Maybe both? Either way, it comes in a CUTE plastic souvenir glass so it does have that going for it! Now, it’s a yummy drink. We really like that it’s not too sweet but we wouldn’t be surprised if this one is way too expensive for what it is. After all, it really is mostly sparkling water which is beyond cheap at the grocery store!

Cuisine Classique
Next, there’s a sneak peek at the old world delight, Cuisine Classique! One new dish this year is the Seared Corvina with Braised Ratatouille and Lemon-Thyme Beurre Blanc.
This is another big portion but it’s not too heavy since it is fish. This wasn’t our fave thing we tried. The fish is cooked very traditionally which means the fish taste is pretty strong. If you don’t mind that, this might be the dish for you! For us though, we were happy just eating the yummy ratatouille and sauce.
Refreshment Outpost
And our preview ends at Refreshment Outpost which is an AWESOME spot to grab some popcorn!
New this year is the GENIUS Popcorn Pairing Flight. Pairing popcorn with beer? Sign us up!
The flight pairs three popcorn flavors with three different beers. The Bacon Barbecue Popcorn pairs with the Barrel of Monks Brewery Endless Enigma Golden Pale Ale, the Jalapeno Ranch Popcorn pairs with the Collective Arts Brewing Life in the Clouds, and the Buffalo Bleu Cheese Popcorn pairs with the M.I.A. Beer Company Malt Bach Brown Ale.
The beers in this flight were SO tasty and they complimented the flavors of the popcorn really well too. Our only complaint was that the popcorn was a little stale. However, it had been sitting out for the media preview so hopefully, it’ll taste nice and fresh when we get it at Refreshment Outpost on Friday!
Want to see more of the media preview? We got to see a whole NEW exhibit in the France Pavilion!

Thanks for this info, I’ve been waiting for Disney to put out info for a fest that starts in 3 days – really Disney! I’m coming next week and need to plan my trips around the festival.
I didn’t see it mentioned about the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine, it’s like the cookie trail they had before. If you stop at 5 selected items from booths that are part of this “trail”, you get something. Several of your above items are on the list of 5 things to get, I think all the food items above are on that list. But some people don’t eat fish, and I’d assume possibly some other items that are on this “list” well I heard you can eat 2 of something that is on the list to meet the requirement. Just an FYI.

The Almond Frangipane Cake was my favorite. It’s delicious, and kind of reminds me of Italian Rainbow Cookies

Headed there tomorrow!

Jennifer,.the menus for the booths have been out for at least a month.

Kelly Jeanne, your right, I should have been more specific, because a lot of stuff was out, the menu, the Broadway lineup, the paid workshops, or the things that were the same from last year. I was really looking for what’s going to be new, and what they did put out on that in the last month has been just a mention. I was interested to hear the new spinning bike art, the merch, that boba drink and if any of the food was changing. Which from what I have read here and elsewhere they may have not changed the food item itself like the Deconstructed Reuben is still there but it’s different this year and I’ve heard it tastes more like a Reuben.
