Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New at Epcot!
And, we’ve got lots of food, construction, and merchandise updates to give you so let’s dive right on in!
Epcot Construction Update
The Epcot Transformation is making its way around the park with new attractions, restaurants, AND a reimagined entrance! While the Leave a Legacy Monoliths have been removed, we’re ready to see the redesigned space when it’s finished!
While there’s been some delayed construction, we’re SUPER hyped to visit Space 220 when it opens in February this year! Although the structure is still in progress, we can’t wait to travel to the Centauri Space Station soon (and maybe even be one of the first guests to dine!).
We’ve got our Awesome Mixes playing ’cause we’re checking out the Guardians of the Galaxy — Cosmic Rewind! Coaster‘s progress!
Although the indoor coaster won’t be opening until Disney World’s 50th anniversary in 2021, we love spotting new parts of the building getting built!
While we spotted the sign earlier this week, the new location has now opened for guests to grab their favorite pieces of merchandise!
Check out our full look at the new temporary Mouse Gear here!
The opening of Regal Eagle Smokehouse is only a short while away! Although the restaurant was originally supposed to open in the Winter of 2019…
…construction workers were making the finishing touches on the roof (do you think Sam Eagle helped out??).
The Festival of the Arts is almost here, and the booths are FINALLY making their way into the park!
While we’ve already spotted the L’art du Cuisine Française Booth…
…and the Goshiki Booth…
…we’ve go so many more to share with you! We found The Masterpiece Kitchen Booth…
…and the Cuisine Classique Booth all set up for guests to visit during the festival!
Check out the rest of the Festival of the Arts booths and menus here!
Epcot Food Update
Although Festival of the Holidays ended on December 30th, Joffrey’s still had their holiday drinks available. Aren’t you craving a Ginger Chai Madness now??
Block & Hans might be a great spot for some craft beer, but now they’re pouring the Sofia Brut Rosé Sparkling Wine for $10!
Although we were so game to grab some Rosé, we had to skip the pizza since the Pizza al Taglio to-go window was closed during our visit (bummer).
Buuut, we’ve got good news that will cheer you up! Refreshment Outpost is still serving the Frozen Elephant, which is a frozen mix of Coke and Amarula Cream Liqueur. YUM!!
We even spotted that the Cotton Candy Santa Hats were still available in the China Pavilion too!
Epcot Merchandise Update
CUTE MERCH ALERT!! The Figment Slap MagicBand might just be one of our favorite MagicBands ever at Mouse Gear! The center features Figment’s iconic orange horns…
…while the band has different snapshots of Figment being his goofy self!!
Check out everything you need to know about the Figment Slap MagicBand here!
Speaking of the coolest characters around, the Mickey and Minnie Shorts Loungefly Collection is making us say “oh, boy!” There’s a backpack featuring the happy couple (OTP)…
…and even a double-sided wallet with Minnie AND Mickey on either side!
We’ll take them both pls!!
Check out everything you need to know about the Mickey and Minnie Loungefly Collection here!
Baby Yoda has taken the (Disney) World by storm! And, even though we spotted the Baby Yoda Socks in Disney Springs, they’ve also flown into Epcot for $14.99!
We can’t get over his little smile while he’s probably thinking about some frogs!!
If you’ve been keeping up with “The Imagineering Story” on Disney+, you’ll know that it’s a small world was a labor of love! That’s why it’s so AWESOME you can build your own version of the attraction with the it’s a small world UGears!
If that’s not cool enough, you can even move the characters onstage during their “clock show” for only $49.99!
Well, that’s all for this What’s New at Epcot! We’ll catch you next time for more merchandise, food, and construction updates!
