Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New at Magic Kingdom!
And, we’ve got lots of merchandise, food, and construction updates to share with you, so let’s dive right on in!
Magic Kingdom Construction Updates
Main Street, U.S.A.
City Hall is getting refurbished to look as spiffy as ever at the entrance to Magic Kingdom! And, although the exterior may be closed off, guests can still enter inside.
Frontierland
While we’ve already told you about the themed digital tip boards popping up around Magic Kingdom, we spotted another rootin’ tootin’ Frontierland board! However, it wasn’t in use whenever we were in the parks for the day.
Tomorrowland
On top of City Hall’s construction, we’re seeing that multiple scrims are being put up around Tomorrowland. While you can spot one at the entrance to the land…
…there’s another closer to Stitch’s Great Escape. Hmm, we can’t help but wonder what space-cial thing will be coming to Tomorrowland soon!
Disney World’s 50th anniversary is in 2021, and the World is celebrating with SO MANY restaurants, attractions, entertainment, merchandise, and more! But, we are especially excited for the opening of the Tron Lightcycle Run in Tomorrowland!
While we’ve previously seen the tracks being built for the coaster, now the construction workers are putting up the walls to enclose the indoor coaster. We can’t wait to travel to the Grid when the Tron ride opens next year!!

Magic Kingdom Food Updates
Main Street, U.S.A.
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and that means all the sweet treats are popping up in the parks for the holiday! And, the fan-favorite Rose Cake Pops have RETURNED to the Main Street Confectionery (and we are sooo happy).
The chocolate cake pop is wrapped with a sour candy belt (to give it that rose petal look) and then covered in white chocolate with red food coloring. We could have a whole bouquet of these bbs!!
Check out our full review of the Rose Cake Pop here!
While you’re at the Confectionery, you can also pick up the HUGE Valentine’s Rice Krispie Treat that’s being baked up! The sweet is drizzled in icing and red and pink M&M’s for $19.99 (which is a perfect dessert for sharing with your loved ones).
Tomorrowland
Although we’ve seen Mobile Order at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe before, we happened to notice Bay 1 being used as the pick-up location for the first time to us. The more spots for Mobile Order, the better!!

New to us, the Animator’s Collection Tea Set is making a sweet appearance at Big Top Souvenirs (and we’re totally ready for a tea party with our favorite Disney Princesses now).
You can boil up a piping hot cup of tea (with lots of sugar pls)…
…and pour it into one of the dainty teacups…
…all while serving a few macarons (our faves) for $34.99! Who do you want to come to your tea party??
Tomorrowland
Speaking of lunar, Star Traders has a new Tomorrowland Collection launching in T-minus three, two, NOW!

Thanks for the updates! Is the Spring Roll Cart In Adventure Land still serving the same flavors that were posted this past Spring on DFB?
Brandon says
We were able to get ALL 3 Space Mtn/Carousel pins on Jan 19th.
Point of Note:
Even if other guests, The Internet, and cast members in other stores tell you that something is sold out… ALWAYS go look for yourself. And if you don’t see it then ASK.
We were told by multiple people and Cast Members in MANY stores around the park and by the pop-up Guest Service kiosks around the park that the Passholder as well as the other 2 pins sold out on day 1 (Jan 17).
But we went and asked a Manager and she went Back Stage and brought out a FULL sealed bag of EACH pin.
So we were able to buy ALL THREE pins on day 3 after release.
Why is this amazing? Because the quantities range from 1500-2000 depending on the pin.
