Honk Kong Disneyland has joined in with other institutions around China to protect guests from the recent Coronavirus outbreak.
And, along with the recent announcement that Shanghai Disney Resort would be closing indefinitely, Hong Kong has joined in to prevent the further spread of the virus.
Starting today, Hong Kong Disneyland will be closing for an indefinite period of time as a health precaution (with a pause on the Lunar New Year festivities).
Although the park will be closed, the Hong Kong Disneyland Resorts will remain open. According to Disney officials, they have been in “contact with health authorities and the government about the situation and will announce a reopening date once they determine it is advisable.”
While we might not be sure when Hong Kong Disneyland will be reopening, we will keep you updated with more information about the Disney Parks and the Coronavirus.
