HOLD THE PHONE! We’ve made the discovery of all discoveries over on the planet of Batuu in Disneyland!
One of the most charming and unique initial elements of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge wasn’t the rides or the land itself — it was the uniquely themed sporks used in Docking Bay 7. They didn’t last long before Disney removed them BUT, guess what? They’re BACK.
Many of you may remember that when Galaxy’s Edge opened last year in Disneyland, Docking Bay initially offered guests AWESOME metal sporks to use in the restaurant. It didn’t take long for them to be swapped out with standard cutlery options after a number of guests pocketed the utensils for personal souvenirs or to resell online (not cool, guys!). The same thing happened even quicker once Galaxy’s Edge opened in Hollywood Studios. Well, now we ALL have the option to get a metal spork! YAAAY!
Yep, you heard us right! The incredibly cool metal sporks that briefly graced Docking Bay 7 have returned…only not quite in the same way as before. Instead of being used by guests dining in the restaurant, the sporks are available for purchase! For $10.99 you can take home your very own Galaxy’s Edge spork! No stealing required! WAHOO!
These metal sporks are just like the originals used in the restaurant except this time, they’re sold with a carrying bag! The coolest detail? The Aurebesh on the bag translates to “SPORK” in big letters, in case you forget what it is! In smaller Aurebesh, it reads “Property of Docking Bay 7” to make clear where you got it!
With the initial popularity of these sporks, we wouldn’t be surprised if these sell quickly, so if you’re looking to get your paws on a spork of your very own, act FAST! You can grab one at Docking Bay 7 for $10.99. Note that AP discounts do not apply to these and they are limited to one per person! (Psst…you could totally make some for lefties too, Disney! 😉 )
We’re keeping our ears to the ground to see if Disney World begins selling the sporks (as of this morning, they are not). But we’ll be right here to let you know if and when they do! Be sure to follow our newsletter if you want to stay in the know about all the updates happening in Galaxy’s Edge!

As a righty, it hadn’t even occurred to me what a pain these would be for a lefty. I hope Disney listens and goes for a lefty option too. My husband would love this, but it would only be a spoon in his hand.
Beth says
Oh Disney… please Please PLEASE make a lefty version. And maybe make it available on Shop Disney? Or even the store that caters to lefties at Disney Springs?

While it’s nice to be able to buy these as a souvenir now, it’s a shame that Disney “guest”, (And I use the term loosely because who comes to your house and steals your silverware?) felt the need to steal these items when GE first opened. I get it that Disney is extremely expensive, and some people may think that stealing the fork was their compensation for the high prices. But it’s not. It was just stealing , period. This was not a small toiletry item that you may take home from your room, such as a bar of soap. This was an expensive metal spoon. I agree with you DFB. Shame on them!

I first noticed these in Jedi Fallen Order since my wife loves sporks. Glad they’re real and I can get one when we finally go.

I’m sure that Disney just went to the place they stored all the original sporks after removing them from service and said, “hey! Let’s just sell these ones. No one will know the difference. “
$11 seems kind of steep for a fork.
