We’re over in Epcot with an exciting food update, and it isn’t about the Epcot International Festival of the Arts!
If you’ve been following along, you’ve seen the many changes and construction updates as part of Epcot’s exciting transformation.
Guests have been able to feast their eyes on these highly anticipated updates at The Epcot Experience, an Imagineering Exhibit in the Odyssey Events Pavilion.

And while previously, The Epcot Experience offered a few nibbles, its menu was limited to some standard snacks like Mickey Bars, Chips, and Mickey Pretzels. But due to The Electric Umbrella’s looming closure, the Eats at the Epcot Experience quick-service counter has introduced a few new eats!
Let’s take a peek at some of the new options you’ll now find at Eats at the Epcot Experience!
As you can see, Eats at the Epcot Experience’s menu has received a big upgrade in the way of Flatbreads, Salads, and Chicken Nuggets!
We had worked up quite the appetite while exploring the park today, so we placed an order for a Pepperoni Flatbread, Sliced Turkey and Mozzarella Sandwich, a Chopped Salad with Chicken, and a Cookie Crunch Brownie for dessert! Our order was ready quickly since most of the Eats at the Epcot Experience food is pre-packaged and ready to go.
For Flatbreads, you can choose from Cheese for $11.25 or Pepperoni for $11.75. We’re pepperoni peeps, so you know which one we went with! 😉 Unfortunately, our Pepperoni Flatbread was a little cold and kinda on the chewy side. The flavors were a little bland. While this would be a convenient way to satisfy a pizza craving, we’d probably go with a different option to get our pizza fix. You can find pizza at Sunshine Seasons and Via Napoli.
Next, we tried the Sliced Turkey and Mozzarella Sandwich for $11. It’s pre-made and served on a brioche roll with sundried tomato aioli and chips. This is very similar to the Chicken Prosciutto Mozzarella Sandwich that’s sold at Electric Umbrella.
The sundried tomato aioli was zippy and sweet. The tanginess of it reminded us a little of pizza sauce, which we didn’t mind. While we enjoyed the toppings on the sandwich, it really could have used more of them. The sandwich is $11 and should be a quick and easy bite if you’re in a hurry!
We also ordered the Chopped Salad with Chicken for $11.75, which very similar to the Energy Salad with Roasted Chicken at Electric Umbrella. It includes mixed greens, apples, tomatoes, cucumbers, cranberries, and agave lime vinaigrette. You can also order this without chicken for $9.50.
The chicken tasted really good but the dressing was a little sweet for our liking and we actually when back and got a second dressing since our salad was a little dry with just one. The cranberries and apples were really yummy too. They were fresh and worked well with the dressing.
Lastly, we chowed down on the Cookie Crunch Brownie for $5. This is also served at Electric Umbrella, but it costs $4.79. It’s a chocolate brownie with crushed pieces of Oreos and white chocolate drizzle on top.
If you like rich, chocolatey desserts that aren’t too sweet we think you might enjoy the Cookie Crunch Brownie. But just to warn you, it does have a really fudgy texture. It was sticking to the roof of our mouths and teeth! Our Oreos were a little soft, but the white chocolate drizzle complimented the flavors of the brownie nicely.
As we pointed out, many of these options are very similar or the same as menu items being served at Electric Umbrella. It is important to remember that Electric Umbrella is set to close sometime soon, so Eats at the Epcot Experience is kind of stepping up to make sure guests have quick and easy eats. Taste Track Burgers and Fries is also should also be opening soon so guests have more dining options.
Overall
With so many other quick-service options and Festival food booths throughout Epcot’s World Showcase, there’s a lot of options to choose from that we’d probably pick over Eats at Epcot Experience, like Sunshine Seasons or one of the many places in the World Showcase for example. But if you’re short on time and need to grab a quick bite, Eats at the Epcot Experience could be an ace up your sleeve!

I’d love to see a video about the 10 best cold sandwiches in the parks (similar to the Sliced Turkey and Mozzarella Sandwich, as shown above). I love the burgers and fried chicken sandwiches, but for a week long stay I start to get the craving for something lighter.

Suggestion: you should date the articles. How does the reader know if the news is ‘up-to-date’?
With Disney World changing so frequently, it is hard to know if the news is relevant. I like reading past articles, but I want to know how far back they date. You’re making the reader work to hard to figure this out. I love you guys, you’re my #1 go-to for Disney news, but I dread coming to your website.

Jessica, thanks for the feedback! The dates are in the URL, which I understand can be tricky, especially on a smart phone.
