It’s the most romantic time of the whole year!
Valentine’s Day is coming up this Friday and what better place to spend some time with your loved one than at a Disney park? If you’re headed to Disney this V-Day, you’ll want to take a look at everything that’s closed for refurbishment in Disney World and Disneyland. Check out all of the attractions, restaurants, and stores that are unavailable for the week of February 10th through February 16th.
Refurbishments in Magic Kingdom
Splash Mountain
Work continues over at Splash Mountain for the seasonal closure. It’s pretty chilly in Disney World right now, so it may be that missing out on the drop into the Briar Patch is a good thing. Regardless, we’ll be back to hanging with Bre’r Rabbit on February 28th.

Walt Disney World Railroad
Last week we saw the Walt Disney World Railroad move from the Main Street Station over to the Fantasyland Station and it remains there this week for photo ops. The train is closed during construction on TRON Lightcycle Run which is due to open sometime before Disney World’s 50th Anniversary in 2021. We’ll keep you updated if we get any info on an exact reopening date!

Refurbishments in Epcot
Test Track and Test Track SIMporium
The Test Track attraction and accompanying areas are still closed as they receive some updates over in Epcot. We’re not too far off from speeding around again, though! This ride reopens on February 26th.

Refurbishments in Animal Kingdom
Kali River Rapids
We’re inching towards the reopening of Kali River Rapids on March 21st. The water ride is undergoing some routine seasonal maintenance. Still, it must be pretty extensive as we’ve seen a crane in the area in recent weeks!

Refurbishments in Disney World Water Parks
Typhoon Lagoon
If you DO want your watery fix (even though it’s chilly), head over to Blizzard Beach Water Park as Typhoon Lagoon is still closed for winter maintenance and will remain so until mid-March-ish. Now, remember, Blizzard Beach will close in bad/cooler weather so check to make sure that the park is open before you head over.
With the reopening of Muppet*Vision 3D in Hollywood Studios that’s all of the closures in Disney World.
Refurbishments in Disneyland
Haunted Mansion
So let’s zip across the fifty states to Disneyland and see what’s a work-in-progress over there. Work on the Haunted Mansion continues as Disney aims to improve mechanics, interiors, and exteriors. There’s a BIG scrim up this week so progress is hidden but we should see the return of this iconic attraction sometime in the Spring.
Check out everything we know about the Haunted Mansion closure!
Snow White’s Scary Adventures
Speaking of construction scrims, there are still a bunch of barriers hiding some work over in Fantasyland. Opening day attraction, Snow White’s Scary Adventures, remains closed as the attraction receives a new vignette and a new scene. There’s still no sign of a reopening date, but we’ll keep an eye out.

King Arthur Carrousel
Just across the way, King Arthur Carrousel is getting some care to keep it around for years to come. This is another attraction with which we’re still waiting to hear about the reopening date.

Sailing Ship Columbia
There’s a new closure, albeit brief, in Disneyland this week too! February 9th through February 13th, the Sailing Ship Columbia will not be making its voyage from Frontierland. We’re happy this closure is relatively short though, so we’ll be sailing again soon!
Refurbishments in California Adventure
Grizzly River Run and Rushin’ River Outfitters
Across the way in California Adventure, a few closures continue. Grizzly River Run and Rushin’ River Outfitters remain closed until this Friday, February 14th. Seasonal maintenance is wrapping up, so what better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than by getting soaked?
Red Car Trolley
And of course, Avengers Campus is still interrupting the Red Car Trolley line. We’ll be keeping an eye out for the reopening of this classic around the debut of Avengers Campus in the summertime.

The Bakery Tour
AND there’s a second reopening in California Adventure. Bread-lovers, buck up! The Bakery Tour reopens on February 12th.

Refurbishments in Downtown Disney District
Jamba
And Jamba isn’t quiiiiite open in Downtown Disney, but it does look like they’re finishing up. We’re not sure though as the best knowledge we’ve got of reopening sets the date as sometime this year.

And that’s all of the refurbs in Disney World and Disneyland this week!
