Welcome back to The Tropical Hideaway!
Tucked in Disneyland’s Adventureland, the Hideaway has a new item for visiting adventurers to consider: PB&J Mochi!
You actually won’t find the PB&J Mochi listed on the menu at The Tropical Hideaway just yet (though you can currently spot it on the Disneyland website menu).
This spin on the Japanese rice cake snack incorporates the flavors of a classic peanut butter and jelly sandwich starting with a sweet raspberry sauce drizzled over the serving of three mochi in place of jam.
And the peanut butter? That’s found in two places. You’ll notice something in addition to the raspberry sauce topping the mochi called peanut butter dust!
But you’ll also find creamy peanut butter inside the mochi, which were more light and fluffy than dense.
The PB&J Mochi trio is $6.99, and it’s a fun addition to the Hideaway’s unique offerings of Dole Whip treats (including Loaded Dole Whips), steamed Bao Buns, and Lumpia.
Which will YOU choose on your next adventure at The Tropical Hideaway?

I always thought Disney was peanut free because of risk of severe allergy reactions, has that changed ?
DFB Sarah says
Debra, we see tons of peanut and peanut butter options in the parks.
