Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New at Disney Springs!
And, we’ve got LOTS of merchandise, food, and construction updates to share with you so let’s dive right on in!
Disney Springs Construction Updates
Beatrix
We’re still waiting for news on an opening date for Beatrix, the new restaurant replacing Bongos that will bring some healthy food options for those of us with vegetarian and vegan diets.
In the meantime, we can’t really see much past the construction walls for now. Hopefully, this neighborhood restaurant/coffeehouse/grab-and-go market will go vertical soon!
Disney Springs Food Trucks
The Cookie Dough and Everything Sweet food truck is back! We’re so happy to see it back at the Springs after being absent the last time we were here.
Disney Springs Food Updates
YeSake
The Cherry Blossom drink is now in bloom on the menu. We’re really excited to give this “Sweet & Citrusy Nigori Sake Cocktail” a try!

We can’t stay away from Chef Art Smith’s culinary creations for long, and he’s got a new 1981 Salad on the menu for $18. It includes chopped iceberg and spring mix lettuce, honey ham, roasted artichoke, tomato, Swiss cheese, and Spanish olives, but we’re way more intrigued by this sauce combination!
Vivoli il Gelato
A Mint Cannoli with chocolate shavings and cheese? That might be the weirdest combo we tried all day, but Vivoli il Gelato tends to surprise us with their sweet treats. You can grab one for yourself for $6.00.

The BOATHOUSE
We might have seen it all now after looking at the Duck, Duck, Razz. This concoction of blue curaçao, blueberry Stoli, raspberry Stoli, Peach Schnapps, lime juice, simple syrup, and fee foam comes with a little rubber duck floating on top! You’ll find it bobbing along for $14.

If that is close to the Columbia 1905 salad, The 1981 salad will be a treat. The description is pretty close but assuming they are not making table side
Jenn says
Saw Damon commented too but sounds like it’s a nod to the 1905 salad at Colombia, which uses the same ingredients for their dressing…and it’s AMAZING! Go try it out at the Celebration location. 🙂

I love DFB, and reading exciting Disney related news each day! But I really wish there was a date somewhere on the articles so I know how up-to-date I can be :/
DFB Sarah says
Britbrit, thanks for the love! The dates are in the URLs, which I know can be a pain when reading on mobile devices. I’ve shared this with the team. 🙂
