Greetings from the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival! We’re so excited that the springtime festival is back for a whopping three months, and of course, we can’t complain — this festival is filled with beautiful topiaries, adorable merchandise, and to-die-for food and beverages!
One of our favorite stops is often Lotus House. Located in the China Pavilion, this stop has our favorite Chinese Cotton Candy as well as the Panda Bubble Tea! Let’s see what else they have in store at this year’s festival.
While we LOVE trying new menu items, we also enjoy seeing them mixed in with returning favorites.
Food
Starting off our food review with a new menu item this year, we tried the Bon Bon Chicken Skewer with sesame and peanut sauce!
While we were sad to bid farewell to the Vegetable Spring Rolls, we were excited to try this new addition to Lotus House. The sauce was SUPER TASTY. The chicken itself was a little chewy for us, but hopefully, that was just a fluke. We still totally recommend you check this dish out for $6.50.
We also spotted some returning food items! The first item we recognized from last year is the Szechuan Spicy Red-braised Beef Shank over rice.
This spicy dish can be purchased for $8.00. Also back this year are the House-made Crab and Cheese Wontons. You can pick these up for $6.00.
And of course, we couldn’t talk about Lotus House without mentioning the Chinese Cotton Candy!
These were a DFB favorite last year and we were thrilled to see them return for the Flower and Garden Festival this year!

Drinks
Let’s move on to the tasty beverages you can find at Lotus House this year! Like the food items, we saw a mixture of new as well as returning drinks. The first drink today is a new one — the Marco Boba!
This beverage is a mixture of Amaretto, iced coffee, milk, and of course boba! We loved this drink! It was a delightful amount of sweetness and was a pleasant, boozy coffee (and honestly who DOESN’T love that!?). Sip on some sweet Marco Boba for $11.00.
The other new beverage this year is called “Time Out”. This one has a lot going on: Bacardi Rum, Peach Liqueur, peach syrup, Piña Colada, Sprite, soda water, and magic boba! We didn’t find this drink to be quite as big of a hit as Marco Boba; it was very heavy on the peach flavor and the bobas here felt more slimy and didn’t lend themselves as well to this drink. Still curious? It’s priced at $11.o0.
The returning drinks at Lotus House include the infamous “Panda” Bubble Tea, Jasmine Draft Beer, and the Kung Fu Punch!
