Over the years, Disney has created magic for guests that will last a lifetime.
And, the Bowers Museum is ready to enchant guests with memorabilia from the parks, films, and MORE in their latest exhibition!
The Walt Disney Archives has made its way into the Bowers Museum now through August 30th. And, if you’ve never been to this art museum, it’s only a short drive away from Disneyland!
The exhibit celebrates 50 years of special Disney magic, featuring over 400 pieces in its collection. So, basically, it’s every Disney fan’s DREAM to visit!! The museum showcases Walt’s desk with different toys from throughout the years…
…and even has Walt’s signature on the original Lady and the Tramp book!
You can also spot some of the artwork by Darby O’Gill (if you’ve seen Darby O’Gill and the Little People, you know what’s up)…
…and the OG Mickey and Minnie plush toys! We’ve come such a long way, folks!
Plus, there’s plenty of film memorabilia for all you movie buffs out there. You can spot the Magic Bedknob from Bedknobs and Broomsticks,…
…Roger from Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, and Wilson from Castaway (FINALLY, we found him!!).
With attraction updates and ride renovations, sometimes we have to say goodbye to some of the audio-animatronics from the Disney Parks. The Bowers Museum is showing off the Hitchhiking Ghosts from the Haunted Mansion,…
…the Alien from The Great Movie Ride (he’s a lot spookier than Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway),…
…and a look inside Mr. Lincoln’s head from the Hall of Presidents — which was one of the biggest audio-animatronic feats of its time!
And, that doesn’t even scratch the surface of all the amazing pieces the exhibit has to offer! You can purchase tickets to visit the Walt Disney Archives for yourself here!

What a fascinating exhibit. I have a visit planned for Disneyland at the end of the month and if I go (not sure, I’m at risk of severe coronavirus if I catch it) I will remember the Bowers Museum.
