We’ve really been missing a good ole’ Mickey Bar and a trip to Galaxy’s Edge since Disney World closed a month ago.
Officials have been already been taking extra precautions in Orlando by instituting curfews and stay-at-home orders. But, now, your next trip to the grocery store for some Disney and Pixar ice cream is about to look a lot different.
According to Deanna Allbrittin for WFTV Orlando, Osceola County will be requiring the use of face masks in public starting April 13th!
Individuals must wear a face mask that covers their nose and mouth and “must be able to stay up on its own” (so handmade masks still work). Although we’re not sure how long this order will go on, Orange County’s mayor recently predicted businesses wouldn’t start to reopen until June (and restrictions could still be in place even longer).
This time might be a little new and confusing for us, but we are still trying to find joy each day by spending time with our family (maybe now we’ll make some Disney-themed, handmade masks)!

Considering bank lobbies aren’t open, that’s not really a valid comment, passive aggressive sass aside.
