We’ve been baking up a Disney recipe storm in our kitchens (and eating too many sweets while we’re at it, tbh).
Although we’ve made some pretty epic Disney breakfasts on top of recreating churros from the parks and the Carrot Cake Cookies from the Writer’s Stop, we’re missing our DFB snack crawls in Disney World. While we’re daydreaming about the parks’ reopening, we’re challenging YOU (yeah you…in the stretchy pants) to conquer these giant snack challenges once Disney World welcomes guests again!
Forewarning, you might want to make sure to bring a few friends or your family with you because you’ll need a whole team to finish these treats!
GIGANTIC Punch Bowl at The Edison
The Edison has a steampunk atmosphere that’s extremely unique. From the giant bronze clock with cogs to the Masquerade events, the restaurant is one of the swankiest spots in Disney Springs. But, one of the COOLEST things at The Edison is its $100 punch bowl on the menu. We know, we know — that price tag sounds pretty hefty. However, this punch bowl is MASSIVE (ya’ll, it comes with a LADLE).
You can choose from the Green Electron, Time Turner, Bad Miscalculation, and Samantha Sterling specialty cocktails off the menu.
If you’re looking for our recommendation, though, the Samantha Sterling is our fave since it’s pink, topped with flowers, and inspired by the Adventurers Club (which is a major throwback for us!). Despite it being $100, the punch bowl is definitely worth the splurge if you bring along an entire dinner party of your family and friends.
Seriously, a GROUP can share this thing with some to spare. It’s huge and delicious. Grab a few friends and spend a boozy afternoon sipping away at The Edison!

Kitchen Sink at Beaches and Cream
Beaches and Cream is a timeless location at Disney’s Beach Club Resort with great food, a retro atmosphere, and the BEST dessert around.
While the restaurant recently closed for a lengthy refurb, it’s finally back up and running with an expanded seating area and new decorations (and looking better than ever, might we add!). While we are big fans of the No Way Jose Sundae, the crown jewel at Beaches and Cream is the Kitchen Sink. The enormous treat comes in three flavors: Original, Neapolitan, and Chocolate Lover’s, which just means you’ll have to go back multiple times to try them all. 😉
The Original is made with vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, coffee, and mint chocolate chip ice cream along with EVERY topping at Beaches and Cream. Yeah, we’re talkin’ brownies, pound cake slices, peanut butter and chocolate chips, candy bars, Oreos, chocolate sauce, peanut butter sauce, caramel sauce, pineapple, bananas, gummy candies, chocolate shavings, nuts, cherries, sprinkles, and even an entire can of whipped cream.
The Neapolitan is the same but with chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream only, while the Chocolate Lover’s only uses chocolate, cookies and cream, and vanilla ice cream with all the chocolate toppings.
If that doesn’t sound INCREDIBLE enough, the Kitchen Sink has its own special announcement. When it’s ready for your table, the overhead lights will go down while the siren lights come up!
A Cast Member will bring you the sundae, announcing to everyone in the restaurant that a Kitchen Sink is on the way with “a whole can of whipped cream!!” Even if you’re not the one eating it, you can still cheer on the ice cream challenge takers!
Although the Kitchen Sink is supposed to serve four, you can bring as many people as you’d like because finishing it is definitely a big challenge!

Mile High Pancake Stack
If you haven’t had a mimosa and pancakes, is it even brunch?? And, the Buttermilk Pancake Tower is the ultimate pancake stack at STK Orlando in Disney Springs. The pancakes are topped with whipped cream, berries, maple syrup, and fruit compote (which just sounds super filling and delicious).
Since the stack is meant to serve four, you can split it between the whole family for $56. Oh, and while you’re at it, you might as well come back later for the ridiculously good Mac and Cheese and Truffle Fries at dinner time! You know, if you’re not in a sugar carb coma! 😉
All the Specialty Dole Whips around Disney World
The Dole Whip is a classic (and the recently crowned DFB Snack Madness champion!). And, although we are VERY partial to the original, there are sooo many different types of Dole Whips around Disney World. Basically, we all just can’t get enough of the sweet frozen treat, so Disney keeps rolling out new flavors to satisfy our Dole Whip cravings. But, we ain’t complaining!!
So, we think it’s a Disney snack rite of passage to grab as many as you can when you’re visiting (which is just a GREAT excuse to eat Dole Whips all day!). In Magic Kingdom, you can pop over to Aloha Isle for the original Dole Whip Cup and Float (either all pineapple or swirled with vanilla!), Pineapple Upside Down Cake, Raspberry Swirl Cup and Float, and the Kakamora Float inspired by Moana!
Annnnd, just around the corner, you can get the Peter Pan Float with Lime Dole Whip and Sprite from Storybook Treats.
And pick up the Orange Dole Whip Cup and Float, I Lava You Float, Strawberry Dole Whip (first debuting as Redd’s Revenge Float), and FOMOsa with Orange Dole Whip on Sparkling Apple Cider at Sunshine Tree Terrace.
Now you thought we forgot something verrrry important, didn’t you? While many fans might think that the Orange Dole Whip Swirl and the Citrus Swirl famously sold at Sunshine Tree Terrace are the same, the snack pros know that they’re totally different. The Citrus Swirl is actually made of a Vanilla Soft Serve and Frozen Orange Juice twist (!!!) that’s super tart and refreshing (you can also get it served as a float with orange soda!). Think of Citrus Swirl as Dole Whip’s tangy-er cousin. 🙂
Over at the resorts, Pineapple Lanai at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort switches out its themed cones throughout the year. While we’ve seen a POG juice Dole Whip and the Yoda Cone in the past, the Heart of Te Fiti Cone is being swirled up currently with Lime Dole Whip.
And, for all you grown-ups out there, we are happy to say that YES there are Spiked Dole Whips all over Disney World!! You can find versions with rum at Marketplace Snacks, Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto, BoardWalk Joe’s, Tamu Tamu Refreshments, and Pineapple Lanai (just to name a few).
Note: While you’re in the parks, you can also keep an eye out for new flavors since Disney loves switching things up. We’ve seen Mango, Lemon, and cotton candy flavors come and go in the past, so we’re looking forward to whatever BOMB treats get swirled up soon! Maybe soon you’ll be able to make a rainbow challenge of snacking your way down the Dole Whip rainbow!

Gibsons S’mores Baked Alaska at The Boathouse
The Boathouse is known for its Amphicars (which are cars that DRIVE IN THE WATER, you guys). And, while it’s one of our FAVORITE spots in Disney Springs to eat, it’s also home to the HUGE Gibsons S’mores Baked Alaska with an even bigger $40 price tag.
It’s tall enough that it takes a steak knife to cut into its rocky road ice cream center, meringue, torched marshmallow, and Hershey Bar surroundings.
But, even though it might be a challenge to finish, it’s not really a true Baked Alaska and totally not worth the $40 if you’re with a smaller group. However, if you decide to have a Girls’ Night Out with your friends, you could split it between everyone while you grab dinner here.
Although the Baked Alaska isn’t our fave choice on this list, it is a showstopper when it comes out. Plus, we absolutely love The Boathouse and it’s a must-see spot to catch a bite at in Disney Springs.

Our Disney snack cravings are totally real right now!! We cannot wait til the parks reopen! Thank goodness we’ve invested in so many new pairs of stretchy pants during our time at home! 🙂
